We’re a family of three and we were extremely satisfied with both the food and the service. We ordered at the register and our food was brought out quickly. We dined in and everything was hot and delicious. Mary made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us. We even had some leftovers to take home and will definitely be back. It was delicious!

My grilled catfish was a small piece of shoe leather. I was very disappointed. The boudin balls are very good. I also had the grilled and fried shrimp. They were chewy. The hush puppies are the sweet dry kind with corn. I called in my order for efficiency and specified the condiments I needed. She read the items back to me. I arrive…no sauces. I had to wait another 15 min for them to grab the Heinz jugs of tartar and cocktail sauce and the malt vinegar and pour them all into small cups for me.

Did not get welcomed at the door. Order at the counter. Pay and then the food will.get brought to you. The cashier and person delivering the food were polite and answered questions. The food was above magnificent! It was so fresh, you had to wait for it to cool down before you could eat it. The atmosphere was clean, and the cooks wore gloves. The atmosphere, however, is quite toasty, meaning it feels like it is maybe 77 degrees or warmer in the lobby and food dining area. I heard someone say, “The food should not be this good.” I agree. For nonseafood lovers, they have chicken tenders and burgers, too.

Had never been here before so I needed some help. Finally decided on the French Quarter Plate. The presentation was amazing. Loved the crunch on both the fish and the shrimp. Taste wise the fish was great. The shrimp by itself needed a little more seasoning and the etouffee was a little “flat” on the taste. Dont get me wrong, the meal was really good I just wish it had a little more pop. Had a small red beans and rice and some beignets. Unfortunately, both fell short taste wise. I will definitely be stopping by to taste more items from their menu.

LOCATION: Accessible, visible on Broadway Blvd. and a rocks throw away from IH 30
PARKING: Shared parking as it’s in small shopping strip but fortunately, this parking lot is rarely packed so patrons shouldn’t have an issue with parking. I believe more people order to-go.
ATMOSPHERE: Exterior and interior is clean, well lit as the windows are clear, big and sign free. The seating and space is ample primarily due to the dining experience (dine in vs. take out). We had no issues with immediately being seated. Minimal modern style aesthetic.
STAFF: Very friendly, well versed in the menu and prompt. We were asked several times if we needed anything and if the food was satisfactory. I’d particularly like to highlight Celina (Selina) who took our order and Lawrence the owner. They were beaming with smiles and pleasantries. Very customer service oriented.
FOOD: I order the fried fish platter. Let me just say that I’m STILL dreaming about that fried okra. It was the best I’ve ever had. The flavor, the texture and amount were beyond satisfying. Everything was hot and fresh. I’d definitely recommend

Had my first few pounds of the season and let me just say I’m so happy I tried a new spot! The crawfish were clean, a good size and absolutely finger licking good. They were full of flavor. I also tried the red beans & rice. Embarrassed to say we finished 3lbs in less than 15 mins. I should have gotten 5lbs! I will be back.

So, I used to really like this place way back when. When it left and the taquito place was there I was sad. Since, The Catch came back, I hadnt been back yet, until today.
The quality of my food was about a 2! I ordered Fried white fish, coleslaw and a side of onion rings. The fish was the only eatable part. It was fried well but was not seasoned. The onion rings as strange as it sounds taste like bananas and old grease and were the grease equivalent of water logged, no crisp in sight. The coleslaw was all cole no slaw, overly saturated with mayonnaise and heavily seasoned with celery salt. Gross!
I wasn’t expecting 5 star quality food at a neighborhood restaurant but if you like quality seafood, or even just want to satisfy a craving, dont go here.
