Granted, a quiet night in town but we couldn’t have enjoyed dinner at Steamies any more!
A great range of dining options but we opted for a Buffalo burger and the Elk sliders – the Elk sliders are my new “favourite thing” – smoky, moist and delicious!
Sides were generous.
A great drinks menu including beers from the Telluride Brewery.
No table wait, efficient service at the counter and food freshly prepared and delivered to your table.
A great playlist of 80’s UK chart music (Smiths, The Cure, Blondie etc) made for a great evening.

On vacation and staying in Ouray. Visited Telluride and wanted a quick bite so stopped here. Throughout my colorado trip, i’ve had mediocre food with high prices and just ok food overall. However, this place is the highlight of my trip in terms of food. The fancy restaurants around town couldn’t cut it and this burger joint surpassed them in terms of food quality and pricing.
I had the yeti burger and my date had the colossal with fries. Absolutely everything was delicious. And the prices were REASONABLE, not crazy like the other local restaurants. The service was great too with a good selection of sauces available and food options. I wish this kind of food quality was more common in this area. 10/10 recommend.

Best Burger In Telluride! I also discovered they have a ton of sandwiches that are to die for. (Like their chicken sandos!) This food is an absolute must try when in town. They have healthy salads, delish milkshakes, tasty cocktails, and so much more. Great breakfast options too!

I chose to put this here because it is regarding Urban Hippie, and the owners have both of these establishments. I think it is important for them to see this. I hate to make this review. It is sad because it is not about the food, the food is amazing. It’s is about one of the employees. He made me and my friend very uncomfortable. When he wasnt standing around watching football, he kept coming to our table, asking our names and being very forward. I hate that we were unable to enjoy our meals because of an employee who wouldnt leave us alone. He’s the skinny guy with the glasses, ladies beware.

Breakfast was so tasty, they have beakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches. Steamies also had a coffee bar with iced coffee, hot coffee, hot cocoa and mochas! We got a dirty chai that was phenomenal. Opens pretty early and has cute outdoor seating.

This is a great burger bar. The sauce selection is perfect with a few unique choices, like wasabi pesto, blueberry, ketchup, bacon mustard, and chipotle aïoli. The guy I spoke with behind the cash register was super accommodating and also very friendly and the food turned out. Perfect I got the Zonie and it’s everything I wanted. The side of crinkle fries was a healthy portion as well. Would recommend this spot.

We always enjoy stopping by Steamies for a delicious lunch or milkshake! The employees are helpful and friendly and the service is usually pretty quick. All the food I’ve ever had here has been delicious, but I especially like their burgers and fries. Also the fry sauces that they have available are great. Milkshakes here are also top notch. Overall I’d definitely recommend stopping in Steamies if you’re in town!

1st time having a “steam” burger. It was good.
The sign in the front was misleading. You order the food at the counter & they bring it to you. Drinks & food were good. Definitely hitting the spot. I liked the “bar” where you can dress your burger with classic condiments or a couple house made sauces. I suggest the Wasabi Pesto that was so delicious! The only thing I wasn’t happy with was the burger patty size on the classic burger. They’re thin so I recommend getting 2 patties.
I tried the classic Steamie & the Range (I believe) & onion rings. The onion rings tasted frozen so nothing special about them.

We had the Steamie burger with regular fries & the Yeti burger with sweet potato fries. They were good but really nothing to write home about. IMO, a little over priced (but it’s understandable for the area).
