Was on a work trip and NEEDED to get waffle house cause we don’t have any in the midwest. I always have to go when I travel to the south. The workers were extremely nice and got the food out very fast. Waffle with a side of bacon really really hit the spot and it was for sure a treat. Also, really cool it’s right next to the steam locomotive at the train museum I went to a few days before. Overall, a 5 star experience (maybe even a 6 to be honest).

I had a nice breakfast this morning at Waffle House. I had the All-Star Special, which comes with a waffle, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast. The waffle was great as always, and the eggs were good, though the bacon was a little overdone for my liking, but I don’t like bacon quite so crispy. The wait staff was friendly and was quick to take our orders and bring our drinks, even quick on refills. The bathroom was in need of a little cleaning and they were out of toilet paper. But generally a good experience. You don’t go to Waffle House for 5 star dining, just good , reasonably priced comfort food and an interesting atmosphere. And it delivered. Oh, played a song on the Touchtunes Jukebox, but the volume was so low that I couldn’t hear it. Could use a turn up in the volume.

Food is great. Staff is friendly and very welcoming. They let you stay as long as you need to. Never rush you out the door and if you look like you need to talk they will listen to you babble for a good minute while doing their work.

This restaurant is on “storm menu” so the options were limited (understandable) but the food was great and the staff were awesome! Definitely will keep this location in mind when traveling.

Wasn’t given the greatest seating arrangement, but the Coffee was hot, and constantly full. Ordered an All-Star with a side of Hashbrowns. It was cooked excellently. Table I was sat at wasn’t fully cleared so I ate next to a set of empty glasses filled with random bit of small garbage. Kitchen floor was atrocious, but it’s a floor. At a good enough price to leave a decent tip, it was a decent breakfast to start a Sunday off.

This Waffle a house is right next to Casey Jones Village but provides a better job of keeping the food tasty and fresh. Although the manager stood firm by the front door to prevent walkouts and our waitress hovered over us watching us eat, we still enjoyed the lively atmosphere. In an interesting sidenote, one of the line employees walked off the line and went to the jukebox to play “Take this Job and Shove it.” She then went on break returning a little later to work the hectic line again. We will be back. I recommend this one!

Great food, fast service. Straight and to the point. No pleasantries and no time wasted. It was an environment for getting in and out without wasting time finding out about the waitresses day or having them asking about mine. I was in a hurry to get back on the road anyways. When I asked the waitress for hot sauce, a fellow patron even shared his hot sauce with me.
