I had not been to a raising canes since time on LSUs campus-IYKYK.
But this location in ROUND ROCK needs to do better raising canes! Are you kidding me- $10.71 for The 3 Finger and this is what we get? The strips appear to be from a kids menu and the must have been counted by hand.
I give 5 stars for service because the person outside and at the window (appear to be students) were nice and welcoming.
Extremely disappointing to not get the value of the food. Guess I will be taking a trip to Leander for Laynes Chicken on Hero Way.
I really thought I was going to have a college nostalgic moment by visiting RC’s and I did not which is very disappointing.
I called the store and no one answered.
Location was not busy, but steady.
Customer service: the staff are so lovely and kind! I appreciate the front end staff stop what they’re doing (safely and within reason of course) to put the customer order first. My order was taken right away despite how busy it looked. They moved through the line quickly AND they maintained their kindness with every customer, including me!
Food: OK so, naturally, the pièce de résistance is their chicken tenders! They do have a chicken sandwich option, but most of their menu are chicken tenders in combos. Now, I ordered the 4 piece combo. Very delicious but I have to nitpick on one thing. While the chicken was indeed tender and juicy, and the garlic bread—oh, the garlic bread was so delicious—I have to say I was disappointed that the chicken itself lacked… salt or some seasoning. The breaded part of the chicken, you can taste the salt and seasoning but if the exterior falls off or you happen to eat it alone, you discover that the chicken itself lacked flavour. No matter though, it was still good!! But I found I had to dip the tenders in their sauce more than I wanted to.
Anyway, all in all, this was a wonderful first-time experience and I’d definitely come back!
I had such a wonderful experience at Reese and Cane’s! The staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming from the moment I walked in. It’s rare to come across such genuine kindness and great customer service these days, but they truly went above and beyond. You can tell they care about their customers. Thank you for making my visit so pleasant I’ll definitely be coming back!
