This restaurant was a jewel to find.
Fantastic middle eastern food, prepared halal by the owner, and made fresh every day.
My wife had the lentil soup and grape leaves and a cup of tea. We eat a fair amount of idle eastern food and she said this was some of the best she had ever had.
I went for the Shawarma Beef dinner and a cup of Turkish coffee. And as did my wife, found it to be some of the best I have ever eaten. (And yes, the coffee was STRONG).
For dessert we had to decide between the kunafa, kollag and the baklawa. We went with the baklawa and were very pleased with our choice.
I highly recommend that if you are in the area, you choose Oasis for at least one of your meals.
This place is has a beautiful combination between Palestinian and Navajo decor, the service is amazing! Very clean. The food was delicious, the falafel were green and light just like in Palestine, the shawarma delivered! And the halva they sell did not disappoint! 10/10 I highly recommend this restaurant.
But the real surprise was the coffee – incredibly tasty, rich, and smooth.
Great place to relax, eat well, and enjoy a really good cup of coffee. Highly recommend!
The rice is good on its own, but adding their in-house chili is perfect if you want some extra spice. The hummus is also great, though the consistency can vary slightly from time to time. Some sides are no longer included with certain dishes, so you may need to order them separately.
I really appreciate how authentic the menu feels — they stay true to Mediterranean cuisine instead of adding unrelated items like burgers or enchiladas. The servers have always been wonderful and polite during my visits, which makes the experience even better.
Love this place.
My wife and I split the shawarma chicken sandwich (pita wrap) and an order of fries, and it was delicious. It’s sized just big enough to be a decent portion for one or two pretty light portions, so the fries balanced it out and we would’ve had room for dessert if we’d wanted. It’s clearly made fresh, and our order came out very quickly. I was surprised it wasn’t busier when we came by.
The restaurant looks like it was once a Freddy’s or other generic classic burger joint that was repurposed, so it’s very open, bright, and a bit utilitarian inside, with red and white color pattern on some of the furniture; but the food makes up for it. They also have a small selection of olives, spices, and other pantry items for sale.
