This is one of our favorite spots! Love their street corn and street tacos! We were seated right away, ordered our drinks, came back with chips and salsa. Jessica our waitress was awesome!

I love great customer service and this location by far exceeded all my expectations!!! From being greeted as soon as we walked in, to giving recommendations on great cocktails! Jessica was a great server! On top of that other employees that walked by asked us if we were ok. Fresh food and great service is why we will definitely return!

We went to enjoy a once a week eating out and was very disappointed in the service. We were immediately seated and given chips/salsa, but no follow up for drinks or food order. We sat for about 20 more mins while other people were seated and had their drinks ordered, and finally got up and left. It was about 11:30 on a Sunday morning so it wasn’t like it was busy. The young lady giving out chips had even came by asking if we wanted more chips but no waiter. As we sat waiting-because that’s what you’re supposed to do it’s not a buffet, we could hear the wait staff standing around the podium talking about the previous nights escapades loudly. Pretty disappointing. We used to go once a week but the staff has made it so unenjoyable that we’ll never go back and never recommend this place to anyone. To each their own, but this was our second experience like this there.

Ordered a Cantina Trio with 3 tamales which is historically $14. Substituted red sauce on the tamales for queso instead. Usually a couple dollars extra.
Ticket came out for $28 for the cantina trio. Mind you, we ordered a queso & beef appetizer which was $6 total.
Was charged $14 for less than 1/4th the amount of queso in a $6 appetizer.
Would not recommend coming to San Joe’s. If highly desired, I recommend going to Dawson for San Joe’s.

Chicharrones are the BEST!!! And the Guacamole is absolutely the correct dip for it! Awesome service and awesome food!! Definitely go and try it!!

Last time I visited, the food wasn’t great, but the drinks were amazing. This time, I ordered the Williams Texas to go, and it was absolutely delicious! The lady who took my order was very friendly, and when I came to pick it up, it was fast, hot, and fresh. Such a big improvement—great job!

This restaurant is a great dining experience. We really enjoyed the tacos, street corn, Sopapillas With Ice Cream & cocktails. There was plenty to choose from on the menu. The chocolate cake is very rich! The strawberry ice cream is delicious! The staff is very attentive and accommodating with requests. The only miss here was a mojito. Wouldn’t recommend that based on my experience this trip. There was plenty of parking and lots of seating. It was a very clean place with a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
