Angry Goat Pub, a clever name for a wonderfully nestled pub in the heart of downtown Ogden, Utah. My wife and I had an unforgettable culinary experience with a few cocktails. At the Angry Goat Pub, expect a huge selection of handcrafted brews from local and international breweries. Instead of going for a craft IPA, I had a Kentucky Buck cocktail: Knob Creek Bourbon, strawberry puree, simple syrup, lemon, and bitters topped with ginger ale.

Angry Goat provided exceptional food, too. I went for the juicy burger, stacked with artisanal toppings… The IRISH BURGER: Corned beef, caramelized onions, muenster cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and our famous Danny boy sauce. I substituted the Muenster cheese for white American cheese. The burger and fries is one of the best hamburgers I’ve ever had. The corn beef on top with the huge hamburger patty within was incredible. I also suggest adding a dash or two of Tobacco to the fry sauce!!!

The welcoming staff matched the atmosphere, where the brick walls and warm lighting invites you to relax before hitting the historic downtown. Enjoy my iPhone photos as I try to show why this establishment is so special.

That may have been the best Philly I have ever had. Man, it was good! The waitress was super sweet and everyone was very attentive… She did make a mistake on a drink, but nobody is perfect! I will be back.

Great food and beer choices. Very good servers; helpful fun and just fantastic service. Lots of TV’s to watch sporting events. Have been here a few times and all the food has been outstanding!!

We tried the cod fish and chips and the buffalo chicken salad. Both were good and I especially liked the tartar sauce that was served with the fish. (not too sweet). They had cool rooftop seating too. Our server was nice but the attention he gave us was somewhat sporadic.

Had a great lunch with my sisters! Food was great! We had the shepherd’s pie, goat burger, big bloody mary, goat balls, and chicken wings. The big bloody Mary was the big winner with the chicken and waffles! We’ll definitely go back!

Pretty cool place to eat and quench your thirst in downtown Ogden. Food was good, service was good, but the poor man’s Beck that was playing live music in that small space was too much! Holy crap he was loud and sorry to the poor kid with two turn tables and a microphone, I would have paid you to stop. I think we will go back on a weeknight and try again. Hopefully no overbearing sounds during the week. Got a pretzel for an appetizer, it was pretty legit!

Wow!

So happy to stumble in on this gem in Ogden. We arrived just as brunch was wrapping up and found seats at the bar without a wait. The bartender was amazing. Attentive without being pushy. Even put sports on for me even though no one else was watching and they were busy. Thaaaanks!

Drinks were good and the Philly was delicious. Love the sweet potato taters!

They have an upstairs patio that was packed on a Saturday and lots of people enjoying the weather.

“Betta not being yo’ kids!”

Good food, good drinks, great service. We sat in the rooftop patio during their live music session and we loved our time here.

The vibe was great—like really great. But if you’re coming here specifically for the food, you’ll probably leave feeling pretty meh. It was kinda bland overall. That said, I don’t think the food is the main draw anyway. You come for the drinks and the atmosphere. They had a DJ the night we went, and that part was actually awesome. And parking is horrible. If you can snag a spot on the main road good for you but if you can’t then you better have a plan.

Food was fantastic. We got the wing that had the dry rub, sweet and spicy. Wings were more sweet than spicy. Different, but great!!! The Philly was awesome, bread was soft and fluffy, with the right amount of dense at the same time. My wife loved the chicken meal with the side salad, but did say the chicken was “very herby” because of the rosemary but mixing with the salad was game changer. We will be back and probably order the same meal.
