Which Taco Cabana in the Austin metro area you like the best?
I used to eat there every week when they had pollo asado on the menu. That coupled with a free salsa bar made it an excellent lunch option.

God forbid you order online to save time. Do NOT order carne guisada tacos because there will be NO MEAT. Just tortilla dipped in sauce and MAYBE a small piece of fat if you’re lucky for $4! They also don’t put cheese on the beef enchiladas. Just tortilla, beef, sauce and pico. I brought this back up there and the boy who said he was the manager said this is how they serve carne guisada tacos. No other location has ever tried to pass this BS off as a taco. He also didn’t want to refund me because it was an online order. Trash service, trash food and even worse experience. This location should close. It’s been trash for over 20 years.

Been here a few times and finally got annoyed enough to leave a review. My order is frequently missing something (today was peppers & onions, last time was cheese, almost always salsa), chips are always stale and the margaritas taste watered down. Service is slow and employees seem flustered by simple requests.
I feel like this location USED to be good, I dunno what happened. This latest batch night staff just can’t get it together. Honestly gonna stop coming here; it’s not worth it anymore.

My first patio experience and I would highly recommend. Just place your order and a staff will bring your order to you. The staff is very friendly and is very attentive.
The patio is dog friendly and is accessible through the patio door in front of the building. My dog really enjoyed herself.
This location is clean and has restrooms available to customers only (need access code to get in).
There is plenty of parking and they accept Apple and Google Pay!
I would highly recommend!

Every time I go to eat at this location the portions get smaller and smaller while the staff gives me more and more aditude i paid 5 dollars each taco and I expect it to be filled at least a little more than that come on needless to say I won’t be returning to this location ever its an insult to Mexican food every were

Enchiladas were tough, lukewarm and tasteless. Associate indifferent and distracted chatting with other associates. I was their only customer and waited almost ten minutes. Drive through windows were dirty and smeared. Ugh!

Ordered Breakfast for me and my bestie and ordered Carne Guisada tacos and usually it’s all gravy and very little meat, but this time they were perfect. I live in Dallas and unfortunately I do not frequent Taco Cabana there due to not offering Carne Guisada tacos or plate. If they did, I know a lot of people would order them.

That location has really went down. It use to be one of my favorite stops. We ordered steak fajita nachos, and the meat was dry and tough. My grandson couldn’t enjoy his meal because he kept pulling hair out of his bowl. I took it back and the worker looked at me as if I did something wrong. Once she noticed the look on my face, I was then asked what did I want, a refund or a new bowl! I noticed another worker on her phone and scratching her head. She was told to come to the front and take an order. No greeting or anything, she was dry like what do you all want? The part that disgusted me is she had her phone, scratched head, touch money and preceded to make food but never washed her hands! It’s safe to say I won’t be going back.

Lots of high dollar taco shops have popped up in Austin in the last few years, but taco cabana is still my go to. Great food, reasonable price. And they are fast even when you order for large groups.

It’s good, tasty, inexpensive tacos and other fast texmex. Occasionally there are issues with cleanliness, and every once in awhile an employee will be less than helpful… But it’s a pretty decent place
