Wow! Second time we’ve eaten here and both times the food was delicious. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in ages.
Last time I enjoyed the shrimp ceviche, this time we had the regular fish ceviche- both were so delicious. We had vegetarian enchiladas, the Chile relleno, and tasajo (Tri tip thinly sliced). We finished with the flan. Everything was so delicious. The waitress was great- checked on us often. The only thing I could complain about is that we don’t live closer.

Food was good, had lunch with several friends and everyone like there entrees. I wanted to try their Mole but it was different from the more Chocolaty darker Mole I am familiar with in my travels. It was orange in color and still very good.
The server was excellent, she was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a nice casual place Mexican restaurant with a regional twist so some dishes might taste a little different than you are use too. I going to back to try them for breakfast next time.

This place is truly a hidden gem! We had no idea it had been open for the past seven years—our friends recommended it, and WOW, I’m so glad they did. I had the wet burrito with chocolate mole (they offer three different kinds!), and I can’t wait to go back and try the others. My burrito was absolutely delicious—authentic, homemade, and full of flavor. The chips and salsa were fresh and crunchy, and our server was incredibly sweet. The overall vibe was warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back. Honestly, just writing this is making me hungry to go back today! There’s plenty of parking in the back, and they also have extra seating in another room inside.

Love it here! The dishes are beautifully made & I was impressed with the side salad if you opt out of rice and beans. Melissa did a fabulous job as well!

Finally!!! An authentic oaxaquen restaurant. I can’t stress how amazing and authentic all their dishes are. Came here for my birthday and everything was more than we expected! The tlyaudas are the authentic size and the mole is delicious! Their meats are also so well seasoned and cooked. We will definitely be coming back here and sharing this place with our families!

Went as a group of 4. I’ve been there 3 times before this and have NEVER had an issue.

Food: ALWAYS delicious BUT this time a shrimp plate came uncooked. They did recook but could have offered a discount and didn’t. Check out the pictures to see how good it is!

Service: was fine. No extra above average service. But all good.

Atmosphere: decent. It’s smallish but the small places are the best.

Overall: will go back if in the area, but will be checking my food from now on.

We recently visited a Mexican restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday and were absolutely delighted!

Atmosphere and Family-Friendliness
We arrived 40 minutes before closing, and despite the large number of patrons, the restaurant was quiet and cozy. The well-arranged tables, free from unnecessary hustle and crowding, were perfect for a family dinner with children. The national music created a festive mood; our toddler, after finishing his meal, started dancing, and our teenage daughter finally smiled.

Food and Drinks
The dishes were not only beautifully presented but also very delicious. We ordered a mix of beef, chicken, shrimp, and vegetables on a sizzling skillet—the rich flavors and variety of textures left us impressed! The dish was accompanied by rice, beans, and guacamole, which complemented the main course perfectly. My husband especially enjoyed his favorite spicy beer, Michelada, it was a pleasant addition to the dinner.

Service
The staff was very friendly and attentive; the service was quick and unobtrusive. We appreciated that, despite the late hour, no one rushed us, allowing us to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace on this special evening.

Overall Impressions
The restaurant is a wonderful place for special occasions, such as birthdays, as well as for those who love authentic Mexican cuisine and a calm atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely return to try other dishes on the menu!

We’ve been here numerous times and the food has always been great! We’ve tried different dishes everytime and they have always tasted so good! Oaxaca’s Favorite and Super Wet Burrito were the best! Family oriented dining. This place would be a hit visit from #dinersdriveinsanddives, #DDD, #DDDguyfieri.

While visiting the area and finding this place on Yelp, we were so elated to find the 4.7 rating to actually be under scored. It was definitely a 5 star! We loved not only the food but also the sweetest lady that was our server. We will definitely be returning to this place when we return to the area. Here are a couple of pictures of the food we ordered it had a beautiful presentation as well.

Such amazing food. The quantity & quality were phenomenal. They had the best chips & salsa and drinks. We had the mixed meat tlayuda & oaxacan wet burrito smothered in mole. Both were so delicous and massive. Service from everyone was great. Love this place.
