The food was great, the service wasn’t too bad, overall it was a good experience. However, I was extremely disappointed to learn that this one does not have gluten free waffles. The Perkins in St Joseph MO does, so when I found out this one didn’t I was pretty bummed out as I cannot have gluten which is a common thing for a lot of people. So the fact that this one didn’t have that on the menu was shocking.

My son wanted to take me out to dinner for my birthday however I decided on breakfast at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery instead as I love a good breakfast!! The atmosphere never really changes, you always see someone you know while waiting to be seated as the Hussle and bussle of breakfast goes on. Our waitress was very nice, checked on us just enough but not too much which is appreciated. I ordered the French toast for the first time and it was unbelievably amazing, I highly suggest trying it and of course an entire pot of coffee. It was a perfect start to my birthday and a joy to be able to chat with my wonderful son, thank you Perkins!!!!
