Nice little restaurant with great service, I was really impressed with how quickly our food was served. I must also comment that I ordered the eggs over medium and for only the second time ever a cook nailed ‘em! My wife enjoyed her quiche but commented it there wasn’t anything special about it. The biscuits and gravy were good, the biscuit to gravy ratio was off a bit leaving me with half of a biscuit without gravy. Overall though a good place and we’ll definitely return.

Stopped in for a girls’ lunch near closing on a Sunday. There was plenty of seating inside but the few tables outside were taken. You place your order at the counter and they bring it to the table. We ordered a couple bowls, mushroom wrap, soup and a smoothie. My fiesta bowl was tasty but waay more rice than I could eat. Not a great ratio of rice to veggies unfortunately and the chicken was dry. The mango pineapple lime jalapeno smoothie with an orange juice base was an interesting sweetness with a jalapeño bite at the end. The green chile chicken soup was tasty but needed something besides the couple pieces of chicken in it. The fries were definitely the best part of our meal. They were thicker cut fries with a delicious seasoning on them. Upon finishing our meal, we noticed we had to clean off our tables ourselves, which honestly affects the experience when dining out.

The quaintest little cafe downtown. Loved the vibe here! Very simple but very delicious. I had the beet salad with goat cheese and pear with a side of rye toast. The salad was huge! Too big for me but I enjoyed what I could. The rye toast really added great flavor along with the other simple flavors of the salad. Loved being able to just order from a table with plenty of seating available. Cant wait to try the paninis!

Went for a drink on a hot day with my parents and found a lovely vibe, passionate stuff that find joy in what they do, and great drinks. We ordered a latte, a turmeric latte and a smoothie. The staff went above and beyond to make sure the order fit our needs and it didn’t disappoint. Recommend 100% this spot if you are around and looking for a yummy drink or bite.

Devastated. This was my favorite place to eat. I told everyone to come here. This was my college lunch break spot. I moved away for a year and just came back.
It went from superb to subpar?
Paying way too much for less quality. The Cafe sol salid doesnt have pesto dressing and barely any toppings.
The portobello is gross now. Chickpeas have been added? You cant do the salad/Sammie combo anymore. No more brea cheese and awesome unique ingredients the cook put a twist on it and you wouldn’t find elsewhere.
What a bummer.

God Tier breakfast sandwich and Dutch baby. Amazing service and cozy atmosphere. Coffee better than any chain.

I used to love Cafe sol as they had amazing gluten free options for me like they were my favorite restaurant in town. Unfortunately they have decided to not only get rid of their best menu items but they’ve also taken away gluten free bread and replaced it with a crumbly tortilla. I’ve never been so disappointed especially since now I can’t even get my favorite salad as they’ve changed the whole menu. Maybe I’ll come back some day if they change things back but for now I’m sadly done.

I have gratefully eaten at Cafe Sol since they opened. I eat there every week not only because it’s the best Cafe in Grand Junction, but because it is by a long shot. Nick and crew offer fantastic food and service. I’m giving 4 Stars for atmosphere because sometimes it is loud. Thanks for being here!

This is a great healthy option where it seems there aren’t many others! They could use more real salt and good fats to make their food more flavorable though – unfortunately this is often the case with “health” food places. Chicken was a bit dry, but the bowls and quesadillas where overall yummy! Beet salad is underwhelming, all the smoothies seem bland and all seem to have kale even if not listed?? Very yummy tortillas and good gluten free options, also seemed good for vegetarian, maybe also vegan.

Cutest place! I loved the vibes here. We grabbed breakfast sandwiches & they were delicious! Mine had avocado on it. I didn’t know it was on a croissant until it arrived (which probably wouldn’t be my first choice) but it did not disappoint! The breakfast potatoes looked delicious but came to us cold. So unfortunate how one thing can bring the meal down. All napkins are cloth, which was unique to see. Staff seemed great! & the chairs are high quality! it needed to be said!!
