My boyfriend and I decided to have breakfast for dinner at Pancakes R Us, and it was a really good choice! The menu has lots of classic comfort food options, and the portions were generous. Our meals came out hot and fresh, and the pancakes definitely lived up to the name — fluffy and delicious.
The only thing I’d say could’ve been better were the hash browns — they weren’t as crispy as we like them. But overall, the food was tasty, the service was friendly, and the cozy diner vibe made it a nice spot to relax and enjoy a casual meal.
Definitely a solid place to satisfy a breakfast craving any time of day.

Hands down, one of my favorite breakfast spots! The menu is full of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so it’s easy to find something you’ll love and keep everyone in your group happy. The pancakes, crepes, french toast, and omelets (with tons of customization) are all fantastic, but the burgers are an underrated specialty. Portions are huge, the staff is great, and while the atmosphere is pretty low-key, this place has been serving the community for over 30 years— and for good reason.

I have been enjoying breakfast and brunch or pancakes R Us for over 10 years now. I always order some egg dish and it has a wide collection of omelette scrambled etc. The services outstanding with its long-term employees recognizing you and remembering what you like and don’t like.

Great food, extremely fast service they had our food on our table within 5 minutes and I ordered a ton of things. Very impressed with the way they operate their business, I’ve been here 2x when on vacation and I’ve always been impressed. Very worth your time and money. The service was prompt and to the point. I always like places that take care of your needs right away. The story of the owner being a freedom fighter in the middle east them managing an IHOP in Costa Mesa then now owning his own restaurant is an amazing story. We even had a chance to meet him. A very down to earth guy. Great service, food, price and quality. Superb.

There were a lot of newspaper articles about a man who works here that were really interesting. It’s worth reading if you are curious. In short, a man who works there is formerly CIA (but there’s more to it).
I recognized him after seeing the articles as he was working very busily.
He made sure we were seated quickly and offered us an outdoor option during our wait.
The place was packed.
I ordered Potato Pancakes and they were great! They were served with Apple Sauce & Sour Cream.
For my main dish I ordered the Chilequiles and they came with pancakes. I wasn’t able to finish my meal, but I thought it was decent. The pancakes were mediocre, but a good size and proper coloring.
My partner opted for Pot Roast. It seemed to be a pretty generous amount of food.
I would like to mention they have a a decent sized menu complete with a few Vegan Options.
