Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Our first ever visit to Whataburger which comes with great reviews. I meant into the clerk. This was our first visit ever so let other people go ahead cuz I needed to read the menu. Decided on the basic since this was our first time and I figured that’s what gave them in the beginning. All the great reviews. First off, I did not know that that burger was going to be that large. Second, we were surprised with a free order of onion rings and french fries. Definitely left a wonderful first impression of this location’s restaurant. Friendly, clean and with good food. What more could a person ask for? And basically it is very fair price in today’s market.

Very disappointed. I got a large fry that what isn’t even half full when I got down the road and got it out of the bag. Yeah I was kind of pissed. Didn’t mind spending $13 for a burger but I got the large and had. I think the fries should have been full but guess that’s just me

Back again on another travel day for my double Whataburger

A Whataburger attached to a fuel/truck ⛽ stop. Clean location and the staff I encountered were friendly.
For fast food… the burgers were pretty good. The chicken sandwich appeared to be a real beast piece… unlike so many competitors.
Would visit again.

While ordering food, the staff were very friendly. Absolutely no issue there.
Bathroom was DESTROYED. So many people had peed on the stall door that the wood was rotting. The toilet was coming off the ground and slid around and there was graffiti all over the inside.
Our order was messed up 2 times in a row. The store was not busy at this time. Staff were polite and fixed the order without issue however. The food quality was subpar as far as whataburger normally goes. Very stopped together and wrapped poorly. Burgers fell apart when picked up IN WRAPPER. Kinda crazy.
This was just a standard fast food experience.

Ridiculous wait! People that ordered after me got their food way before me. I waited 30-minutes for my food! I ordered 1 burger and fries! Lady in the kitchen too busy coming out and fussing at the cashier to get the orders filled. She had a bad attitude! The cashier was the best though! Her name was Lele!

Late at night, drive thru, the line was not All that bad. But, as we were traveling, and planning to eat IN the car… the lack of any napkins was a problem….

Don’t have Whataburger in our area so looked forward to trying & things are bigger in TX. Liked the burger & Onion rings BUT was very disappointed in the malt. It was very icy, not creamy, lacked flavor & no malt flavor. I’ll eat again at Whataburger but never order another milk shake.
