Decent spot for sushi in Lisbon for sushi but nothing overwhelming. The plain sushi rolls with tuna were satisfactory but definitely not a flavor extravaganza. Kind service with a server who spoke great English and made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. However just a little bit on the expensive side for the area considering the quality of fish for the city.

We had an amazing dinner at Tanuki Sushi Augusta with our family! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The location is perfect, with a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that made our evening even more enjoyable. What really stood out was the incredible value for the quality of food we received. Great service, great prices, and a fantastic dining experience overall. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Tanuki Sushi to anyone in the area!

Update 12/28- after reading the response to my review I would like to point out my meal with the hair was never comped and I indeed was charged for it. In fact, when I told the staff about the hair they simply apologized and that was it. No compensation, no rectification but definitely charged me. While I wasnt looking for a free meal, please keep your responses honest with what actually happened. Still would not recommend.
Do not recommend. There was hair in my food, the meat was overcooked and the service was pretty non existent..I would not recommend or come back.

This was the first restaurant I visited on my first night in Lisbon on 3/19. I got something light to eat: Caprese salad, Gambas A Guilho (sauteed shrimp), a glass of Porto wine, a cosmopolitan and chocolate ice cream for dessert. Everything was tasty. The staff were very nice and helpful.

We had the family sushi boat and the grilled octopus which was more than enough for two people. Fish was definitely fresh and service was excellent. Seafood options are varied and plenty. They also have non-see, non-sushi dishes in the same establishment.
This restaurant is attached to a hotel (Augusta) and as such expect the prices to be steep but very well worth it. I’ve tried other sushi places nearby which are cheaper and I can attest to the fact that most of them are not fresh. This place is expensive but because the seafood is definitely not old! Recommended!
