We use the best fresh produce of the market for our dishes, and our breads and pastries are made daily with only imported French flour, chocolate and butter, so you have the real French deal. We are busy in the community, particularly with two of the Missions in town. Le Café Gourmet and its bakery are own by Helen, she is from Portland, Or. where she operated a catering company for more than twenty years. She loves Savannah and the people here. Her goal is to bring her livelong passions, baking and cooking and to be the best! Please stop by and say Hello.

Amazing food at the new location!
We got the Caprese sandwich and Paris Sandwich on fresh made baguettes from this morning! We also got 2 coffees and a raspberry croissant.
Its worth every penny the staff was super friendly and helpful! We will definitely be coming back

Trying to find a breakfast place and was going around before deciding to try this place.
There were 6 of us and although there weren’t many seats, we made do. We ordered a bunch of things from sandwiches, quiches, brownies, croissants etc…. their brownie & burnt cheesecake was superb!!! They have lots of other delicious looking desserts/pastries, but since we were traveling, we couldn’t buy too much. They are newly opened, so give them a try when you’re in the area.

I love the new location. I don’t have to go downtown to go to My favorite bakery. It’s right next to Aldi’s and so much bigger. Will be a regular stopping point for me now for sure! I bought a loaf of sourdough and it was fabulous. Although I have only had great things there.

feels like you stepped into the neighborhood cafe off the streets of France, but with air conditioning! the quaint atmosphere and excellent service is worth the trip and the sandwich was top tier!! they have a big selection of delicious pastries as well, everything seems to be as delicious as it is pretty!!! I just stopped in for a quick lunch but couldn’t stop myself from grabbing a couple of sweets to take home. the caprese sandwich was perfect, I will definitely be back!!!

The most beautiful French pastries you will ever find in Savannah! Impeccable flavor choices and combinations. Nice selection of other local food items. The owner is so kind and personable. I cannot drive past this place without stopping for a latte and a chocolate croissant. Please try it for yourself!!

My fave is the Dijon Sandwich on *rosemary* bread- definitely get the rosemary bread!! It’s SO good!! The turkey is moist and not sliced, but pulled and it has great flavor! I will note that the amount of turkey they put on isn’t always consistent. Last time it was loaded, today it was skimpy with several bites of just bread.
I’ve had their croissants- great and also some kind of loaf pastry but it was rock hard. So I think pastries other than croissants can be hit or miss.
As a novice coffee snob, their coffee is an absolute no for me. Way too much milk.
Definitely great for a quick and filling brunch or lunch stop.

I stayed in Savannah 3 days, and I ate here every morning. It’s this beautiful small French shop that makes crepes fresh to order. The coffee was strong and rich. And the pastries were not only delicious but also absolutely beautiful. We even took a fresh baguette back to the hotel to snack on throughout our stay. Definitely the best way to start the day.
