Just to start off, I needed my order to be all catered to be gluten free. This place is able to make almost anything on their menu catered to gluten free for a small upcharge.
First off, their pesto risotto was 100% WITHOUT A DOUBT, the best risotto I ever had. Even eating it the next day, I was still very impressed and enjoyed every single bite. 10/10
The creamy shrimp gnocchi was on par with the risotto. Just so damn good. The portions were all huge. So I did not mind paying the prices they charged. The quality of the food and the amount made the trip so worth it. The calamari was good as well but I know for a fact it would have tasted better eaten fresh at the restaurant. I can’t wait to take the wife here for a nice date night.
We ordered an assortment of stuffs and these are some of the ones that just hit the spot:
– Calamari Frito —> lovely battered tentacles and squid rings
– Penne di Papa —> great penne with vodka sauce
– Linguini Clams —> very garlicky and tasty
– Chocolate Panache Cake —> rich and dreamy
The garlic bread rolls they serve are also fluffy and delicious.
Will come back!
First off, we were so surprised when we walked into the adorable atmosphere! Second, our waitress, Francesca, is one of the owners. Actually the daughter of the original owner. She definitely made our experience TOP NOTCH. I feel like we are part of the family after our dinner. All of the photos are of the family, I especially love the ones of her mom and dad (last at the end). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you are ever in or near this area go support them. You will not be disappointed.
Interesting response from the owner, I did not hear anything about a “12oz” piece of chicken when I spoke with them over the phone. The business owner’s snide and condensing remarks say it all. In fact I did find a better spot that was better priced and food was delicious. Quality doesn’t have to be overpriced.
We ordered pizza, lasagna, and chicken tenders (for my 1 year old), and the lasagna/chicken tenders took 1 hour to arrive at our table. I would have been fine with the wait if the food was good, but it wasn’t. The lasagna was noticeably cold, like it somehow wasn’t cooked long enough. The pizza was severely undercooked. Really disappointing to wait an hour for undercooked, cold food. The food was awful tonight.
My wife asked the waiter if we could substitute broccoli for fries with my daughter’s chicken tenders, and he said yes. They did make the substitution as requested and did not bring fries. However, we were charged the full price for the chicken tenders and fries and an additional $6 for the broccoli.
