We arrived on a Saturday between 11am and noon. The restaurant wasn’t quite busy so we were seated right away. Gabby was our waitress and she was great; welcoming and attentive.

We ordered pulled pork, mac n cheese, cheese curds, brisket queso and chili. The pulled pork was on the drier side, the brisket queso was flavorful however the brisket was also dry and over cooked. Seems like it may have been from the previous day and they tried to bury the lack of freshness with the queso. Mac n cheese and chili were just okay. Cheese curds were really good though!

We really had high hopes but left feeling underwhelmed. Customer service was good however, food quality was lacking a bit.

To all my friends and family and work family you all know me and my wife consider ourselves foodies, we love finding new places to eat, and this BBQ joint we found is amazing, and let me tell you it has it all, great food, awesome service, and great historic atmosphere.
Our server Joseph was the best all 4 times we have been here, he gave us great suggestions and explained a lot about the restaurant, basically took the time to give us a history tour.
And this last time I had the pleasure to meet the owner Kevin, he took time to thank me and the family for coming in and explained a lot, asked what our favorite menu items were and told us about the his restaurant and just related to us and he even put me in a order for a wolf pack hoodie and shirt, and I’m a huge Chiefs fan and I love they’re logo, I will post a picture of it below.
So please go and see Kevin and Joseph and all the staff, it is located in a cool neighborhood down near city market, you will not be disappointed, the side of corn bread, I won’t even try the name but it’s flavored amazing, the ribs are fall off the bone and the sliced brisket is amazing, I will have to come back in to try the beef burnt ends, they serve them Thursday Friday and Saturday only, we normally come in Wednesdays, so we will ha to try to come in Thursday next time.
They are mostly word of mouth so please try it and share your experience and spread the word, me and Crystal Trillo are stopping going to the well known and over priced Bbq joints here in Kansas City, this is our new and better Bbq joint and the prices are good too.
Give them a try you won’t regret it.To all my friends and family and work family you all know me and my wife consider ourselves foodies, we love finding new places to eat, and this BBQ joint we found is amazing, and let me tell you it has it all, great food, awesome service, and great historic atmosphere.

We visited for our son’s birthday and had an incredible experience. I ordered the two-meat plate with spare ribs and pork belly burnt ends, paired with onion rings and a salad. The onion rings were a standout—crispy, melt-in-your-mouth coating and onion curds were tender with a perfectly matched dipping sauce. Good adult sized servings.
The meats were the real stars; the dry rub was so flavorful that BBQ sauce wasn’t even necessary. However, their house sauce is excellent—balanced and not overly sweet—if you prefer to dip. My son’s brisket was equally tender, and his cornbread muffin was so good we’ve already decided to order our own next time. Our server, Joseph, was wonderful and made us feel genuinely welcome. In a town full of BBQ, this place truly stands out. We’ll definitely be back! Ask about the building. It is a legendary place with history. If you remember LaSalas, you will get the feels reminiscing. Try it!

Had such an amazing experience with the crew here! Joseph was our server and he was absolutely phenomenal. And the food… wow — seriously incredible. I ordered the two-meat platter with pork belly burnt ends and sliced brisket, plus cowboy beans and the street corn salad on the side. Everything was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly.

The atmosphere was great too — super clean, well-lit, and just an overall pleasant place to enjoy a meal. Highly recommend!

Best BBQ in KC for real! Try the fried pickles and the garlic cheese curds! The brisket is amazing, the pulled pork has the perfect seasoning, and the baked Mac n cheese will make your Aunt Ava think they high jacked her recipe! 10/10 Andrew made our experience fabulous!

This was my first time there and I was blown away by how good the brisket, burnt ends and in particular the queso on the loaded fries. Great selection of drinks, cool aesthetic, fantastic service. Don’t miss the chance to drop in. I’m glad I did.

Well we went back again the next night I brought 6 colleagues with me and everyone was blown away. Queso was ordered and everyone raved about it. Ribs were great I tried the sausage tonight and let me tell you. Don’t sleep on the sausage it’s fantastic. Good selection of non alcoholic beers as well. Thursday-Sunday are apparently when the beef burnt ends are on the menu so might have to make it 3 days in a row. Ok it happens again and I brought another friend who confined that this is some of the best BBQ in KC. Special shout out to Nat for great chat and fantastic service over my 3 visits. When I’m back in town I know where I’ll be dropping by to visit!!

One of the best if not the best barbecue place in Kansas City. Nobody has better burnt ends or brisket within 100 miles. If you want a life-changing experience get the brisket burger two ways you will not be disappointed.

I would also highly recommend the wings, maybe pricey, but well worth it. Get them naked first, add sauce if you think they need it. They even put in a nice spin on their french fries. Their loaded fries could be a meal on their own.

Burnt ends not available every day, but if you come on a day when they’re not, brisket and pulled, pork will still rock your world.

Landed in KC for Ravens game, found this spot. BBQ delicious, moist and tender. Pulled pork giving everything it is supposed to. Beef burnt ends on point. Beans were decent. Loaded potato salad 100%
Ordered a white sangria, not what I was expecting. I drank it, didn’t make a fuss. Yes I would return and definitely recommend coming to get your KC BBQ!

I travel all over the country for work, and my first meal in said town is always local bbq. So of course, when in KC, I set out on a solo bbq tasting tour of my own.
Had 4 stops to try on my list. First stop was Jazzy Bs in Lees summit, second was Q39 third was Wolfpack, then pigwitch.
Let’s just say I never made it to pigwitch, because it was never going to be better than Wolfpack.
Ordered brisket, burnt ends and pork belly. As soon as it hit the table and I saw it, I already knew this was the holy grail of smoked meat.
When I tasted it, OMG, it melted like butter, and the bark was beautiful! You guys have something special here. And to the pit master that creates these masterpieces, keep doing what you are doing! You are pulling off what the rest of the bbq country only dreams of doing!

I’ll be back before I leave town! Cheers!
