What a hidden gem! The oolong tea was very high quality and honestly this was the best Walnut shrimp we have ever had, light, crispy and tender!

Very good authentic Japanese cuisine. Seated immediately, service extremely courteous and prompt. Waiter was very efficient and friendly. Atmosphere is very cozy romantic reminiscent of Japanese cultures. Amazing hard cover bound book for menu. Just awesome place. You really need to look for place, it’s a JEWEL hidden and tucked away. We drove by 3 times, but was a cold November rainy night.

A cozy and peaceful little gem of a restaurant tucked away in a little strip mall not far away from the Abbey resort where we were staying. The crab rangoon, ramen bowls, and sesame chicken were all delicious, but it was the beef stir fry noodles that really blew me away. We were also very early for dinner, so we had the place all to ourselves. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, great service, excellent food.

Nice little place , great variety of asian cuisine. Some known some unique dishes. Not a typical Japanese or Chinese place. Has a flavor and style of it’s own.
We had some sushi and it hit the spot- spicy crunch roll and spicy tuna rolls. We’re more sweet than spicy. But good.
We also tried the chicken bento box, Kung pao Chicken, beef and mushroom which were excellent. The sesame chicken was very much like an orange chicken, very sweet, which is not our thing but still was good.
Definitely a place to try.

Every time I have ordered takeout from Rise, it has been delicious and always hot – no reheating necessary! I’ve tried sushi, beef and broccoli and chicken and broccoli. All very good! The hostess was also super nice when I picked up my order. Highly recommend!

Me and my brother decided to pick up to go order, the staff were super kind and sweet. This was the first time getting food from here and definitely won’t be the last. The food was amazing, super excited to try what else they have on the menu. We ordered the crab Rangoons and the gyoza with the entree being ship tempura ramen. All was amazing it was seasoned extremely well. It was a very pleasant experience not to mention the inside is super nicely set up making it a comfortable environment.

There was an additional $3 charge for takeout vs online order, which we were told about at takeout pickup (I wish they told us while ordering). Additionally, when my husband brought the food to our hotel, we realized no utensils were included, delaying our dinner further. Finally, the food tasted like Chinese (e.g. breaded chicken, no tofu in miso soup) and not Japanese, and had mediocre taste. The chicken bento box was hard to eat. Overall, disappointed in the lack of transparency/service/taste and I’m not going to be a repeat customer.
