Excellent food! Quick service. Both of our kids ate their whole plates and loved it (kids corn dogs and kids burger). The regular burgers were huge and well worth the price. The bill for our whole family of 4 to eat, plus my husband’s 2 draft beers was $43!
We stopped by on our way home from traveling out of state for Christmas. We’ll definitely be keeping this place on our list of places to stop when traveling!

A Winter
I had the unfortunate experience of being ripped off tonight. By a lady with silver hair named Pam age older then 60. She charged me $10.00 for a drink. When I asked fellow customers how much they paid for drinks and researched in the internet the menu of the drinks the maximum amount is $7.00. When I asked another bartender she said $7.00. I always tip my bartenders. So unnecessary overcharging wasn’t needed. Thank god afterwards I did get my change after I questioned why I was charged a lot for a fruity drink.

Came in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with the wife and kids while visiting nearby Starved Rock. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside on the patio. Amanda was our server and she was excellent! We were the only ones on the patio and her and other servers checked on us regularly to make sure everything was good. Food menu had a lot of options, all very fairly priced, and food came out quick, hot, & fresh. Thank You!

Came here on a Tuesday night while in town for work. Seems to be a local hangout spot that leans more towards a sports bar than a grill. They have a full bar and plenty of beer choices from local and foreign breweries as well as your typical selection. The atmosphere was decent but seemed a little dingy. Plenty of interesting menu options and nightly specials. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and a beef taco (because it was Taco Tuesday) and everything was ok, nothing special but no complaints. The was service was about the same, fairly quick and attentive but not great. If I was to go back I’d probably try one of their burgers. They do have a gaming area with pool tables, dart boards, shuffleboard and video slots. There’s also a fireplace in the middle of the room which is a nice touch.

We needed lunch before the trip back to Chicago. Got a referral from a local cupcake lady. It’s a burger and beer relaxed sports bar. We had a great waitress named Pam. Super friendly and sweet plus bonus she’s a jeeper so my hubby was thrilled. Outdoor seating also and tons of games for adults and kids, and pool tables.

Great location , Good atmosphere, very roomy, a big bar with a lot of seats, the bar area has many tables and can accommodate a lot of people, A perfect outdoor patio. This is definitely a beer lovers paradise they had a lot of beer options. Cocktails would be typical tavern choices nothing special, no drink or cocktail menu is offered and they lack hard alcohol choices, even though it was 9 PM the bartenders all seemed they were done and ready to go home. At one point a gentleman even hollered is there anybody here working Please Note : there was three bartenders they were all standing on the corner eating popcorn puffs and talking. Over all Id stop again to give them another chance because I enjoy the over all atmosphere. But this shack is riding on a thin line with me and my reviews.

Shakers is my go-to place for live music. It’s hard to find live music in general out here, but you can count on Shakers. I love that people of all ages come together together to boogie pn the dance floor. Also, I really enjoy Bradley (I think that’s his name-sorry if it’s not) the bartender. Top notch service. The food is yummy and I will continue to come here.
