Achilles Grill restaurant is locally owned and operated serving Greensboro, NC since 2012. Achilles Grill is proud to import its own extra virgin olive oil, wine, cheeses, olives, herbs and spices directly from Greece. We are known for our fresh and healthy dishes, starting with our famous Chicken Souvlaki made from fresh, 100% all natural chicken bought locally every day and marinated overnight and cooked right when you order so it can come to your table tender and juicy. Our fresh Gyros, slow cooked in our rotisserie gyro machine, are full with flavors of Greek herb and spices. Pork Souvlaki is made exactly the same way that you will find in the streets of Athens.

Good, fresh food and portions. Served hot and quickly. Decent enough service and atmosphere. I get the gyro wrap and it is very well-seasoned and not too greasy or heavy.

Excellent gyro- the quality of the meat is top notch. The vinaigrette that comes with the salad is unique & very delicious. Fries were crispy & hot but a bit bland. Would have been better with some seasoning. Great value- I pay several dollars more for the same type/amount of food in Raleigh. Setting is nothing fancy but clean & agreeable (including the restroom). Plenty of vegetarian options on the menu.

Came here for a late lunch and the server was incredible. Knew the menu in and out – helped me make a decision on what I eventually ordered.

I ordered the gyro meal with drink and fries. The whole meal was delicious. Meat was tender and flavorful, fries a good mix of crispy and fluffy.

Great place!

This is our go to!!! We’ve never had better food – clean, fresh, and scrumptious. We’ve tried many plates and all are outstanding. The service is just as excellent. All the waiters/waitresses are respectful, full of manners, and quick to meet your needs. The owner of the place – INCREDIBLE. He’s so caring and always acknowledges his regulars. He truly takes care of this place!

Mythos serves delicious, fresh Greek food at an affordable price. Their combo deal is a standout—you get a grilled chicken kebab, gyro meat, salad, fries, and pita bread, all of which are perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The meat is always tender, hot off the grill, and bursting with flavor.

Everything at Mythos is incredibly fresh, and the restaurant itself is clean, bright, and welcoming. It’s also family-friendly, with a menu that offers something for everyone, including little ones. The atmosphere is lively, so if your kid gets a little noisy, no one bats an eye. Evenings tend to be busy, which speaks to the restaurant’s popularity.

Their catering is another highlight—you can feed a crowd for around $10 or $11 per person, which is a great deal for fresh, high-quality Greek food. While you might find cheaper options for less healthy meals, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better balance of quality and value.

There may be fancier Greek restaurants out there, but for our family—especially with a toddler—Mythos is the go-to spot. It’s a casual, welcoming place with amazing food at the right price, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Normally I wouldn’t be so upset about a bad experience but the positive reviews here have me wondering if I’m losing my mind.

Easily the worst “Greek” food I’ve ever had.
Got our orders wrong in multiple ways. Food was bland and dry. Everything tastes and presents as cheap, generic, and low quality – the kind of food thats designed to make maximum profit with minimal effort.

No aspect of the meal was redeeming or made me think “that was pretty good” just disappointment through and through. Fries? Soggy and unseasoned. Salad? Made of the lowest quality wilted shredded iceberg lettuce you could find. Chicken? Dry and bland. Spanakopita was dense and tasted like it was marinated in pickle juice for some reason.

Nazareth, mykonos, and Odeh’s are far better options.

I was very excited to find Achilles in our new neighborhood. And I’m even more delighted that the chicken souvlaki is one of the best I’ve ever had. Service was exceptional, everyone was very friendly and attentive, and prices are very reasonable. A new favorite!!! I highly recommend Achilles.
