The food was really great. We had to wait for a while even though there were so many empty tables. We just figured they were short handed. The steak was good and so were the beans they serve with the bread a butter. It had an old west vibe, kind of dark, although I don’t want it too bright in a restaurant, it just felt darkish. Staff were great and like I said, maybe stressed on the night we went. We were there for almost two hours. I would give them a chance again, but just not if we are in a hurry. The bar seemed very lively, but we didn’t sit in there. They had real potatoes, and the bacon Mac and Cheese was really creamy and delicious, no fake cheese etc.

Went to Cool Hand Lukes with some friends last night. I had the most tender steak ever. The filet mignon was such a treat! Good service, great food and good company. Everything you could want in a night out. If you go be aware that the price on a steak is pretty high.

Wish I had taken more photos of the food but I was so taken aback by my $9 “ice cream sundae”.. apparently this is an appropriate amount of ice cream for nearly $10. That’s actually insane.
What’s worse is that we actually spent almost $100 on this order for two entrees and this “sundae”.
The steak entrees were heavy in oil/butter, as in wet. The mushrooms that came with it were saturated.
The cherry on top is that they sell ice cream yet have no spoons to go.
Overall I feel pretty ripped off. Maybe the experience would have been better had we eaten there but unfortunately it is the restaurant’s responsibility to ensure a pleasant experience both there and for their to go orders.

The best waitstaff, and the food was awesome! If you go in early? There are specials! And it’s wayyy less crowded! Most authentic steak house in the Yuba Sutter area! The atmosphere is astounding! And the ranch beans ? The serve? Ohhh myyy soooooo good and there fresh bread? Mouthwatering !

Met some family from Roseville here, we all plan on meeting here again. Everyone was very happy with their meals.
The rolls they serve are pretty good, the beans they serve with the bread are fabulous. I meant to order beans to go they were so yummy.
We had a Onion Blossom which was tasty.
I found the perfect plate, the Sizzling Steak Bites w/ Mushrooms and Texas Toast..I didn’t want a big steak so it was perfect for what I was wanting.
My husband prime rib he said was delicious. He also has the lobster Mac and cheese which was amazing!!
Can’t wait to go back!!

First celebrating my mom’s birthday we just have a large party of 13. We did make a prior reservation just to make sure that they could accommodate us. My aunts and uncle were a few minutes late the waitress was MIA we didn’t take their orders curious strawberry lemonade that she never brought in he asked three times but when the bill came the strawberry lemonade was on there. Everyone’s dinner came out except for my sisters. When she asked she said that she forgot to submit it. She did remove an item from my sister’s bill. My mom ordered prime rib and it looked so gross when it came out. When she asked about it the waitress said that it was the very last piece of the end She called it the scrap piece. My mom quickly said it back and order something different. We felt as if she knew that she was going to get a very good tip because it was automatic that she kind of didn’t feel like she needed to come around. Very unfortunate definitely wouldn’t recommend for a group or if you’re going to celebrate something important. For the amount of money we were paying per meal you should have had better service. We won’t be returning.

The customer service was so great I love the energy ☺️ there but the food was not for me My Husband love the Burger. I got the steak it was chewy they had big mushrooms with the steak. I had steak bits they also put the toast on top of the steak bits the bread was wet I also got shrimp it was ok and the potato soup was ok. I even got bacon Mac and cheese that was ok. They gave you a free yest roll with garlic butter that was good and they gave you free beans I didn’t like that but overall it was ok. no veggies come with the meal you have to pay extra .

Well, not so impressed.. it was absolutely freezing cold in every location including the bar and at our table. When we asked if they could turn the AC down they said it’s a slow Antiquated machine and that if they changed it it probably wouldn’t take effect for at least an hour and they were right the AC didn’t stop blowing on us fiercely until we were paying our checks.My friends had to go to the car to get their coats. As for the food, my husband ordered a prime rib and it looked really gross and it was covered in fat and gristle. He refused to eat it. The consensus was that they should have never, EVER sent it out. The rest of it was mediocre as nobody raved about anything. I gave away most of my Hamburger because it had a funky flavor. The only people who were happy at the table were the two folks that paid $74 ea. for a steak in a lobster tail. The lobster mac n cheese had a flavor that was “spicy ” so spicy it was burning my husband’s lips and he had to stop eating it.

We went here for my husband’s birthday dinner and the food was really good. We went on a Saturday night around 9pm and were served promptly, and our waitress was very attentive. My steak was cooked perfectly, and the seasoning was really good. The crab cakes were delicious! We also enjoyed the beans, the beef stew, and the salad we ordered. I also ordered the Ranch house margarita – beware, it will sneak up on you! Overall the experience was great and we will be back. The reason for 4 stars is because the price I paid for my entree was different from the menu price by $3. This is just a personal pet peeve of mine but not a deal breaker. Like I said, we will be back!
