Went with a big party on a Saturday night and there was space was us. I would say we were around 8+ guests. Food was fine. But the service was really subpar. Idk what happened. They just weren’t very attentive at all. Which is strange seeing as they were making a lot of money off of us. They managed to get a couple of things wrong with our orders- but we didn’t care enough to complain. Wouldn’t really recommend. There are much better diners alone on the island and probably nearby too.

The food was delish! I loved the Greek omelet with a side of grits. The atmosphere was cozy and festively decorated for the holidays. The staff was friendly and enthusiastic about the holiday season as well. I love that this diner is a long-standing part of Amityville history!

A perfect little diner. Plenty of parking, stairs or ramp to enter. Greeted warmly by the owner and seated immediately. Friendly servers bring hot coffee and fresh food. Small, very clean restaurant. Diners and staff all seemed very happy. ♿️

I stopped here for lunch after walking around Amityville and it was really good. I had a gyro platter and chicken soup and a very friendly waitress. I think she said it was only her second day. Nice diner and I would definitely go back.

Nice little diner. Pretty standard menu. I got breakfast. Very happy with my omelette. Home fries were really good too as were the pancakes. Staff was very friendly. Place was clean. Will go back if I’m in the area.

a nice little diner that has little retro aspects inside and i enjoy going here with my boyfriend! every single time we get the friendliest waiters and their service is great. the food comes relatively quickly and the portion sizes are really good for the price! i can never finish all my food so we take it to go! i would definitely recommend supporting this place and checking it out 🙂

I wanted to like this place. We were sat next to a loud annoying family despite most of the diner being empty. I ordered a simple #1 and yet the waitress comes back a few minutes to ask me what I ordered. Our food came out in a timely manner, though a fly buzzed around us while we waited. My panini was surprisingly good, the main reason I’m giving some stars. The fries were very typical. The portions were fair, though still I wish it wasn’t somehow $37 and change (before tip) for two people to order a sandwich each. Anyway, the absolute WORST part, and the factor that inspired me to bother leaving a review, is that they were pouring straight bleach on the floor right near us as we ate. Are you serious?? That smell was not only noxious, but my mother and I were getting lightheaded as we tried to rush eating to get out of there. To the management, if you see this, please clean your floors after hours, at least if you are going to use such harsh, strong-smelling chemicals. There is no reason you need to bleach your floors more than every 24 hours, therefore there is no reason you should do this while there are customers present. I feel like this should be common sense.
