I went with the girls today for a nice brunch. The atmosphere is fun and modern but not over the top or bougie. We got a table right away and everything was very clean. Staff was friendly and service was prompt for everything.
I got the Mexican coffee which comes with a concha. The cups are so adorable and the coffee itself was really good.
I also got the chilaquiles divorciados. The food came out quickly and everything was nice and hot. The chips were crisp and the chicken was very flavorful and not dry. I loved the beans too; very creamy and delicious.
It was my friend’s birthday and they brought out a cute slice of cheesecake with a sparkler candle for her. It was an awesome touch.
There were so many delicious looking dishes coming out to other tables while we were there. I’m definitely coming back again. Got to try them all!

Very good. The Dorado tacos with Chicken Tinga were so good. Kudos to whoever came up with this recipe. Beautiful restaurant with great decor. Nice staff. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Only negative is when you walk in the door at host stand, it smells weird or like a chemical. Not a deal breaker to eat there, but I thought the team might want to address that so it is more welcoming.

The chilaquiles are great. Overall menu has wonderful options even if you are not familiar with all types of Mexican foods. Our server Theresa was wonderful and shared the most popular picks with us. We ordered the chilaquiles trio and chilaquiles carnitas. Portions are generous so we each took half of it home. The atmosphere is bright cheerful and vibrant. Beautiful outdoor patio too. Every member of the staff was so friendly.

Extremely loud music. For tortilla chips, 2oz of meat, a few shreds of cheese and sauce it was over $100 plus tip for 3 people…

Food was good felt like an original Mexican experience wasn’t loud and prices were a little up there but you would be pretty surprised by the amount you get for the price.

My attention was drawn to the restaurant’s bright yellow “CHILAQUILES” parking lot sign, which says a lot when there are more than four cars. The dining area is furnished in a modern style and has a great ambience, music was good, however add a few Nortenos, Corridos. I couldn’t finish all the food on the plate. The overall experience here was good. The place is clean the staff are friendly and to my liking some of the food is pretty good. We are a family of 4 so here’s what we had.
Husband ordered the tostadas de chicharrón which were very good. I had the chilaquiles DF also delicious and a big portion. I love cafe de olla so that was a must have. Everyone has different taste buds and opinions and my was the coffee was on the too sweet side compared to others I’ve had. I also tried one of the mini concha ( again honestly bread was a bit too dry)
My daughter had the chicken and waffle ( the chicken is thin and crispy very well seasoned) for my little one we ordered the kids plate it comes with a pancake ( this was the saddest one, the pancake was dry it had an after taste definitely it was not our fave). Atmosphere was pretty good too, the music was a bit too high I think. I kinda had to speak on a higher tone in order for my husband whom was sitting across from me to hear. Overall good experience, good food.

My husband and I visited Chilaquiles Modern Kitchen for the first time on Thursday 1/22/26, and our experience was made truly special because of our waitress, Theresa. From the very beginning, she set the tone for the visit with her warmth, patience, and sincerity. As first time guests, we had plenty of questions, and Theresa answered every one of them thoughtfully and without the slightest hint of impatience. She made us feel comfortable taking our time and genuinely cared that we enjoyed ourselves.
I was especially excited because chilaquiles are one of my absolute favorite dishes, and I could not help but gush about it. Rather than being distracted or dismissive, Theresa met that enthusiasm with kindness and joy, even telling me that my excitement made her day. That small moment said a lot about the kind of person she is and the level of care she brings to her work.
The food itself was the best I have ever had, but what stood out just as much was the way Theresa treated us. Her attentiveness felt natural and heartfelt, not scripted. She checked in at all the right moments, anticipated our needs, and made us feel genuinely welcome rather than just another table. Because of her, the entire experience felt personal and memorable.
Between the incredible food and the exceptional service Theresa provided, these are the two main reasons we will gladly make the drive all the way from Chandler to return. I am eternally grateful for her kindness and truly honored to have been taken care of by someone who clearly brings her whole heart to what she does.

Besides slow service & waitress checking on us only 2 times. There was a fly in the syrup and it took me about 10 minutes to get the waitress attention and she just said the fly could’ve been there when she sat the food at the table, but we didn’t get the syrup to replace the one that had the fly in it. After she saw the cup with the syrup that had the fly in it, she just walked away. When mentioning the flight to her, she just looked at my family and I crazy didn’t say anything and she says she’ll be back and didn’t come back . about 5 to 10 minutes and she just came back with the bill. I did mention that it was my sister‘s birthday and I wanted to do the cheesecake candle and never got around to it and it wasn’t busy because we got there at 7:30 am in the morning and we were the only people there besides another couple.
