Came here for my friend’s birthday celebration and we had such an incredible experience at this restaurant! The food was unforgettable. The steak was cooked to perfection tender, juicy, and full of flavor with every bite. And the calamari? Hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy, not chewy at all, and seasoned just right.

The service was great and you can tell they really care about quality and presentation. If you’re looking for a place that delivers delicious food and a great dining experience, this is definitely the spot. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

Was looking for some amazing italian cuisine while visiting Federal Hill and Cassarino’s truly delivered! My group and I were all pleased with our meals. Portions were HUGE and the meals were reasonably priced. The chicken parm was thick and crispy with excellent sauce. Really enjoyed our apps (fried ravioli, mozzarella, and arancini) as well. Service was great. Trust me this place will NOT disappoint

Food was good and the place was quite busy, but the quality didn’t drop despite the crowd. Service was understandably a bit slow since there was only one wait staff when I was there, so expect a longer wait. Overall, still a solid meal if you’re not in a rush.

First off. Food was honestly delicious. The Calamari and the Carbonara was very good. Service was fine. But dont expect much. My wife and i went for our 10 year anniversary as it asked us if we were celebrating anything when making out reservation. Absolutely nothing was different about the experience. Could have been a first date and it would have been the same.
It was a little strange how as soon as we were done eating, the bus boy came over and took our waters. We both still had full drinks and were going to order an appetizer. We chose not to order an app due to feeling like we were being rushed out.
Again, food was delicious, but most of the food on the hill is delicious. We wanted an experience and had a dinner. Not mad by any means, but not sure it was memorable enough to make sure we come back

Amazing food! Love how they have traditional Italian items and some creative ones too. I recommend the balsamic calamari, pink pesto vodka pasta, and the cookie skillet (enough for 6 people easily). Prices were fair for the portion and quality. Easy to get a table too.

Amazing service, sat at the bar and ordered fried ravioli, stuffed mushrooms and gnocchi alla vodka. Got a side of their Alfredo sauce for dipping, the best I’ve had! Everything was unbelievable, a must try in fed hill!

Now that The Old Canteen is gone, this is the place to go for great classic dishes. Extra points for having *several* incredible vegan dishes – and an astonishing wine list. Though, honestly, their aperol spritzes go just fine with a good spicy bowl of fra diavolo.
(The service is generally earnest but can be pretty lacking, especially on a busy night – they may need to hire more staff!)

This place was amazing! The portions are very generous and everything was delicious. We got the lasagna with vodka sauce and the chicken parmigiana, as well as mushroom caps. Our service was also very good, we never felt rushed to eat. The atmosphere is very lively — we went at 8:15 on a Saturday and they were still packed. Highly recommend but definitely come hungry!

We checked in at 6pm for a 630pm reservation. We were waiting for another couple so we would go to the bar for a drink and wait. The hostess told us that our table was ready whenever we were ready to sit. The other couple showed up at 615pm. We went to the desk to be seated only to learn that it would be 15 to 20 mins before a table would be ready. What happened to the “ready whenever we were ready to sit” we were told? We were informed that our table was given to another party. We ended up being seated on the 3rd floor. Steep climb up 2 levels, cold table next to a drafty window and low ceilings.
The service on the 3rd floor wasn’t very good. Dirty app dishes laid stacked on our table too long no one checked on us unless we flagged them down.
I’d definitely go back for the food but wait for a seat at the bar. Better service at the bar.
