I haven’t been to Dragon Buffet in years. However, the establishment was very clean, quiet and neat. The food was fresh and they had a good selection on the buffet. My waitress was so sweet. I was dining in alone (a little selfcare). She came to talk to me for a few minutes. She filled my water up without me asking. I walked over to eat while my car was getting an oil change. I appreciate great service. I made sure that I tipped her well. Thanks again Dragon Buffet. I will be back and I highly recommend if you’re in Charlotte- to try them out.

This buffet was about 1000 times better than the first one I went to—but honestly, that’s like saying a paper cut is 1000 times better than a shark bite. The food was fine, the selection was decent, but the real MVP was my server. She was absolutely stellar, the best part of the whole experience by far. I wish I’d gotten her name because she deserves a standing ovation (and probably a raise).

This is their sesame seed chicken looks like old chicken refried lol .. walk in the place food not fresh as if they only put the food out fresh once a day lol clearly bc they don’t get much traffic and we see why lol …. Rice mushy like mash .. very hungry everything else was closed nearby as far as Chinese goes but wow yall got to do better for the community. Pour into is like we pour into yall .. we suppose to pour into each other this is wild to serve … nice ppl tho

The good here is so good in comparison to other Chinese buffet I have been to. The crab ragoons were the best I’ve had in ten years. And those little cake squares that I usually hate, were actually delicious. The brown one I thought was chocolate was actual coffee flavor.

This sushi is so old the color from the seaweed was seeping into the rice. Couldn’t even but it on my plate. This guy brought out fresh spring and egg rolls. And they were soggy. Right from the back and they were terrible. The gravy looked like it had been sitting around all damn day I stirred it up and it looked worse. Probably one of the worse buffets I’ve ever been to. I ended up eating two plates of crab Rangoon‘s because that was the only good thing they had. I’ll never eat here again. The waitress was nice and kind.

We arrived in Charlotte NC on a Friday night kind of late after 8ish. We were there for the weekend trip to Carowinds to celebrate my daughter’s 13th birthday. After we checked into our hotel we headed out looking for something to eat for dinner. My Husband, who loves Chinese food remembered seeing this restaurant from our many visits to Charlotte.
As soon as we entered the restaurant I noticed that it was clean and didn’t smell damp of musky.
We were seated immediately and not required to pay before dining. That’s a great policy to have. I don’t like being treated like I’m going to dine and dash.
The food was delicious and there was plenty of fresh warm food on the buffet bar.
There was a lot of food to choose from but not too much food to be overwhelming. I didn’t get the feeling like they were just putting low quality bland food on the bar just to have more selections. Everything I had was delicious despite it being past 9pm at the time. The waitress was attentive and checked on us regularly removing plates and refilling our beverages.
Sunday afternoon after we checked out of our hotel we dined there again because my other daughter requested it for lunch. Again, not disappointed and we were able to see the restaurant in the light of day. Same great food and great service. We will dine there again the next time we are in Charlotte.

I recently visited this place and was extremely disappointed. The food had a terrible taste, and the machine-made drinks were flat and unappealing. I strongly recommend avoiding this spot if you’re looking for quality food and beverages. It’s just not worth it.
