We visited La Kaza Restaurant in the afternoon and had a lovely experience. I tried the Mamacita cocktail — an absolute must-try — along with a refreshing ginger ale. We also ordered French fries, which were nicely done.
The setup is charming, with a relaxed vibe and even swings that add a fun touch to the place. It’s located close to the Grand Gaube centre, making it easy to find. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better.
Overall, a great spot for a casual, enjoyable outing.

Absolutely freaking amazing!!! Food, drinks, service and atmosphere, we loved it. Special attention to detail. Everything was great! Highly recommend. A great view as well. Swing seats and gorgeous fish to look at. Great place for kids as well

Great restaurant and great food, we really enjoyed the dishes. Congratulations to the chef to prepare such tasty and well presented dishes. Service was good as well and very attentive. So were the cocktails. Only downside is the restaurant close to the Main Street and very noisy, toilets need an urgent upgrade.

We really enjoyed La Kaza — so much that we went there twice during our stay in Grand Baie. The food is delicious and the service is friendly. Our highlights were especially the crispy calamari and the Mauritian-style octopus.

I visited this restaurant for the second time because the food is excellent and, during my previous visit, I was personally attended to by the manager, which made for a very positive experience. Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing.
Despite the restaurant being almost empty, the service was slow and the waiters were rude. While I was literally almost outside, I was told not to smoke, which felt unnecessary and poorly handled. To make matters worse, our order was purposely brought out incorrectly, with more items than we had actually ordered.
This level of service was surprising and frustrating, especially considering how good my first experience had been. Sadly, the poor attitude and lack of professionalism completely overshadowed the quality of the food.

Absolutely terrible. The food took two hours to arrive and the seafood was not even fresh. The new years eve dinner was a fixed menu, but the starters, dinner and dessert were all very bland and completely tasteless. The service was also a joke. When the waitress handed us our drinks she touched the straw from the top where you drink out of. While the atmosphere from the balcony was nice to enjoy the fireworks everything else was well below any standard, especially if you have to pay almost 100€ per person. I warn anyone from trying out the food you will be disappointed.
