OMG best doughnuts ever! My bad I guess they are called Malasadas. Yes it’s a food truck, yes they make every doughnut fresh while you wait. If I lived close to one of there locations I’d be 300lbs. The doughnuts come out hot and they are amazing! Prices are really good considering it’s Hawaii. There are a couple tables for outdoor seating. No problem finding a parking spot. Got to order quickly and just a few minutes to get our freshly made pastries. If you sit at one of the tables or decide to have one of these delicious pastries you may have a few friendly birds visit you, they’re kinda cute and funny and they know good treats too.
I can’t believe I forgot to get a menu photo

After our hike from Koko’s Head, this was a well deserved stop! The donuts were so fresh and still hot when we got them! The custard and original were our favorite. Must try.

If you are visiting Oahu and want to try one of the best pastries on the island, go to the outlet mall area on the south of the island and look for Leonard’s big pink truck – order a half dozen of the plain or crème filled Portuguese malasada donuts. Eat them immediately while still warm- grab a cup of coffee and enjoy, you will not be disappointed. I’m craving them as I write this review

I get the hype. It was delicious. So fluffy but also kinda chewy (in the best way possible). Highly recommend the cinnamon sugar, haupia, and nutella. The truck is located in the parking lot of a strip mall that offers a few outdoor seating if you wanted to enjoy it on the spot.

Amazing sweet treats you can grab to go or just enjoy onsite. These are super soft, warm, and delicious puff malasadas. The cream inside is like a gentle sweet sauce not super sweet which makes it even tastier.

OMGoodness! After eating the first hot one with coconut cream, you know what all the hoopla is all about! The most amazing sweet dessert I had while in Hawaii.

Oh my god! The malasadas are incredible! We tried every variety! Cooked to order, perfectly warm and delicious and the fillings are out of this world. So good we went back again. And got the t-shirt!!!

The Leonard’s Bakery Malasada Truck is an iconic stop and absolutely lives up to the hype! The malasadas come out warm, fluffy, and perfectly coated — each bite is pure joy. We tried a few fillings and loved every single one.

It’s quick, convenient, and has that nostalgic local charm. The staff were super friendly, and you can feel the pride they take in serving a Hawaiian favorite.

If you’re visiting the island or even a local craving a classic treat, this legendary spot is a must. Don’t leave Oahu without trying it!

It’s a food truck–style donut shop with about three tables next to it for customers to sit and eat.
The donuts are warm, and the filling inside is also warm. The outside is coated with sugar, and the filling isn’t overly sweet.
It tastes like a Korean glutinous rice donut filled with warm custard cream.
Highly recommend pairing it with coffee.
They don’t accept cash — card payment only.
The staff weren’t particularly friendly.

We stopped by so our visiting family can checkout this unique dining experience: Leonard’s deep fried dough with tons of sugar and other unhealthy ingredients. I bought one custard Malasada just so they can say they’ve eaten this greasy “treat”.
