We’re visiting the area and our Uber driver Timothy highly recommended Xavier’s for a delicious Mexican dinner. We were not disappointed! The service was fantastic and the food was soooo good! Not to mention the margaritas. We would definitely go back and encourage anyone looking for a yummy, reasonably priced Mexican meal to give this place a try.

I tried this location after some research and I am sure glad I did!
As of now, this is my favorite Mexican I have found in Mesa, AZ!
I had the combo plate, enchilada and Chili Rellano with beans and rice and included a chicken taco!
The green sauce was top notch, and margarita’s on point.
My only complaint was I had to flag the waitress down a couple of times. But it still rates a 5 star for me!

Still one of my favorites. Worth the drive from all over town. Got the machaca this time and it was as amazing as the steak plate on my last visit.

We’ve been coming to Xavier’s Casa Reynoso for many years, and never once have they disappointed in any way. Everything was on point, down to the warm crispy chips and delicious salsa. Service is always excellent and you get your food very quickly. The red Chile , rice, and beans are always made to perfection. Always consistent in every way.

We live down the block from Xavier’s and decided to try it for dinner. Friendly staff. Wheelchair friendly. Families with children there. Food is really good. I ordered taco & enchilada plate and hubby ordered two tacos and added rice & beans.

We were in from out of town and stopped in. Most of the menu is a la cart. I had a red chili tamale and cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Everything was absolutely delicious. The highlight was the red chili sauce. It had such a depth of flavor. Would highly recommend.

Not too many places in East Mesa that serves really decent Mexican food. This one will satisfy that south of the border craving. Service was just above par, I felt too close to other patrons, we were in their conversation & they were in ours. Booths would’ve been better instead of the open floor.

It was super busy on a Friday night. Not a long wait to sit. To give our order was slower than expected. Food was great. I me three different groups of people who eat there weekly.

Some people run restaurants because they love food and want to share with others. Others run restaurants to turn a buck. It appears that Xavier’s falls into the latter group.
The food at Xavier’s Casa Reynoso was OK, the service was decent, but the overall experience felt more focused on cost-cutting than hospitality.
Definitely had better meals that tasted of higher quality elsewhere. Plus, there were extra charges for small add-ons that other restaurants usually include (no free refills on soda, more than one chips and salsa comes with a charge, etc). The cutlery was low quality and they provided only a fork with the meal. The margarita tasted like a typical margarita but seemed to use cheap ingredients (I had a slight headache after). Even the candy dish, on the way out, had a note that read “please take ONE – you’re on camera”, as if someone taking a handful of candy would make them unprofitable for the restaurant.
Overall, I’d give it 3 out of 5 stars. I don’t regret the visit, but won’t make the time to visit again.
I only wrote this review so others will have a heads up, and in hopes that the restaurant will read it and do better. They have potential and can provide a good experience.

Went there for dinner. The food was okay, but nothing exceptional. I expected better from the reviews. The Margaritas were small for $11 and not good or strong. The resturant needs a redo.
