My husband & I wanted to enjoy breakfast outdoors this morning and he chose to eat at Place to be. We had the worst experience ever everything was absolutely horrible. To begin with there wasn’t a host at the door to greet us when we walked in. Once we were seated 5 minutes later our order was taken by the waitress when we had decided on what we wanted. My husband ordered an omlette I had ordered a quesadilla and we ordered pancakes to share. It took 30 minutes for the omlette & pancakes to come out while I was still waiting for the quesdilla. When the waitress bought over the omlette & pancakes she didn’t mention anything about my order such as it should be out in couple minutes. I waited 5 more minutes to see if they would bring it out before I said anything. When I asked all she said was I am going to check the kitchen for your order. After 10 minutes pass by it finally came out. I would have loved to say I enjoyed my food after waiting 40 minutes for it but it didn’t look appetizing at all. The avocado on the quesadilla was brown you could tell it was old as you can see in the picture I have attached. The parsley on top of it looked like it was sitting in the fridge for weeks it wasn’t fresh. The onions in the omlette was raw I would have expected them to saute it. My husbands homefries were disgusting it tasted like it has been sitting on the grill for days; it didn’t have any seasonings on it. The coffee they served us tasted more like water than coffee. Oh and another thing I would have to mention is that they weren’t even busy there was two tables including our table. It actually explains why they were empty. The service was disappointing as well because she hasn’t mentioned anything about my quesadilla when she bought the other food. Long story short don’t go here and waste your money on food you are going to hate.

I was really excited to eat here after looking at the photos of the food. There was no host, I waited like 10 minutes at the front before someone came over to grab candy from the bin, I told them I needed a table and they said someone would be over soon. Another few minutes pass and finally someone comes over and tells me I can sit at the bar. I sit at the bar for 10 minutes without being greeted. Finally I look a few seats away and see this placard that says to flip up for help and has a Qr code for a menu. I flip the thing up but QR code for the menu doesn’t work. Finally someone comes over and asks if I’m ready to order, I tell them I don’t even have a menu. They bring me a menu and wait right in front of me while I try to decide.
I got the Brunch Nachos. They were okay, I definitely was expecting them to be better because the description sounds delicious. The portion size was so small, it came in a tiny skillet, one egg, a few pieces of bacon and 90% potatoes. For size reference, I ordered a bowl of fruit, the bowl for fruit was the same size as my skillet.

This is truly the Place 2 Be!!! Instagram-worthy pictures, but the food was so delicious!!! These were the best deviled eggs I’ve ever had! They literally deep-fried them and honestly, it’s a game changer! The pancakes came in a huge stack of 5. you can split them between two people, or if you’re super hungry, just chow down! I did have 2 margaritas since both had a perfect balance of liquor and sweetness! Definitely a must try are the fried devil eggs!!! I can’t wait to go back before leaving Connecticut!

I went for Sunday brunch. I expect any place to be busy this time of day. Here it was slightly busy, but incredibly loud. More like a bar on a Friday night then a diner on a Sunday morning. Simple conversations were impossible without yelling. Music was blasting. After ordering and sitting we changed our order to make it to go because we simply couldn’t stay there. The food was acceptable. The deviled eggs were good. The cappuccino had more whipped cream than I could imagine any adult wanting. Very good for Instagram, very bad for drinking. I may go there for something to go in the future. But certainly not to eat in.

I came here for brunch for my birthday with my girlfriends and I did not have high expectations. A lot of places put esthetics over everything these days. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The food and our waitress were great, I wish I remembered her name, she made it a great experience. We shared the Southern Benny, home fries, and the churro French toast. The French toast was so good it didn’t need syrup. The home fries didn’t need ketchup and had great flavor. The Buffalo hollandaise on the southern benny was delicious. I would come back!

Worst brunch experience I’ve ever had. There was a hair in my food. All of our food had bitter undertones like the ingredients were going bad. The pancakes were extremely sour and impossible to finish despite trying by dousing them with syrup. I would avoid this place. Really disappointed. The music in the restaurant was so loud we had to shout to talk. The only redeeming quality of this restaurant was the lattes- creative and well done.

Went for brunch today, the atomosphere was nice! The service was efficient and the menu was versatile. I got a Sangria which was delicious and so refreshing! Princess was our waiter and she was great!

First time visiting this restaurant. The vibes is more for twenty and thirty years old crowd. Located in a college town. My omelette was over cooked. My daughter said her food was okay. My expectations of having good food was based on other reviews. Check out the restaurant because my preferences may be different from yours. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The service was great.

Came to check this place out with my girlies. Let me you this place was amazing. Our waitress Alanna was amazing, she made sure to our drinks were full and we had everything we needed. Love the atmosphere. A little sad we just missed the DJ. The manager Q was amazing. 10/10 highly recommend coming here.

Im currently here now and before I ate I already it was gonna be horrible. It started with the one person show. Literally one person doing everything it was embarrassing for an establishment to be honest. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was the cook as well. She was the host the server and the bartender. Honestly this place should close until they can afford to hire more help. I feel so bad for the server/host/bartender/maybe cook. Hopefully they promote her and pay her for three jobs because if she is making under $25 an hour that would be so disrespectful and they dnt value her which is insane because she is doing everything alone. They dont even have enough qr codes for each table they have to take it off one table to give to another we actually didn’t even stay for the food with how long they took it. Please dnt come here u will be disappointed
