It’s a quite little shop. We hopped in here after grocery shopping. The staff were nice. It’s a little family like style place. They even serve some sodas in the bottle. I appreciate having a salsa bar, as I can never get enough. We ordered queabirria, Carne asada, and chicken tacos. It would be better to come on Tuesday and get the special. It was a bit overpriced, but the qusabirra was the best.

Service is good, however English I’d a little hard for them to understand.
Food is good. However, portions are smaller.
Good side bar. Kid friendly.
They don’t have any Diet drinks, which is really the only reason I didnt like the options they had.

Oh heck yes!!! Walking in, it’s very well decorated, it gives a sort of comfy vibe. Overall the atmosphere was just great. The cashier who took our order was very sweet, well spoken, and overall just a good worker. Our food came out quick I’d say. I ordered some of the best quesabirria tacos I’ve had in a while, they truly taste authentic and how they do in Mexico. Also, it is very well priced for Mexican food. I’d definitely recommend this place!! The agua frescas (I got horchata) was on the best I’ve ever had, I will definitely return!

Tried Sonora Taco Shop and left disappointed. The menu is extremely limited—just tacos and two types of burritos. The salsa bar was a joke with no chips, and the “guacamole” on the burrito turned out to be a thin guacamole sauce. For the price, you’d expect a decent meal with at least some sides, but the burrito was plain and underwhelming. On top of that, the drink machine was out of order. Overall, overpriced and not worth it.

The place looks nice and all but man the food no so much. No seasoning on the carne asada the carne al pastor, the meat was so hard it was so nasty. and for it to have the name Sonora it’s ashamed because in Sonora they have the most bomb tacos ever. If you are gonna sell food for that much and charge extra when you use your card, atleast have some great food no mediocre food. I rather go to the taqueros on the street then a kinda place like this. What ashamed I was excited to see this place and try for the first time but I will never ever come back.

My only regret is that it took me so long to give Sonora Taco shop a try. I had the carne asada fries, and my wife had a burrito. We agree it is one of the best places to eat in Glendale, and the prices were really good. No doubt about it, we will be going back soon.
