Social Profile:

Our passion for fresh food comes from our founder, Mary Vasquez. Throughout her childhood in Central Mexico, she cooked with her mother and grandmother, helping to prepare family meals. When she moved to the States, she married Mike, had children of her own, continuing to make her favorite recipes from her childhood. In 1973, Mike and Mary took over an existing restaurant in Corona, CA and renamed it “Miguel’s” in honor of Mike’s grandfather. Today this family tradition continues. It is our promise to deliver the freshest, best tasting California Mexican food each and every day at all of our Miguel’s Jr. locations.

Mexican counter-serve chain dishing up burritos, tacos & other classics in a modern space.

I showed up here yesterday about 5:00-5:15PM and ordered an Original “Carne Asada” burrito and over the speaker, it clearly sounded like the person taking drive-thru orders actually understood what I said when I was repeated my order back to me the way I ordered, but after leaving the restaurant location and getting back home to eat my food, it turned out that my actual burrito was not placed in my bag, but swapped with some type of “mystery meat” burrito. Suggestion to all; eat your food at the window to make sure your orders are correct, otherwise you will not return to Miguel’s Jr. simply because you like their food. Don’t believe me? Here’s my order

Went through the drive thru, maybe they couldn’t hear me well, I had to add a taco at the window. They were out of one of their new drinks so I had to get one of the other drinks the coke one with the cold foam it tasted like candy. I had requested wet style initially they got it wrong and had to corrected after already waiting for the order.

Bottom line make sure they hear your order correctly.

I finally have to speak up, been coming here 30 years and usually get the combo plates which I love!
Well some person high up decided to scrap the open restaurant style plates with smaller compartment plates, everything gets cold fast, the Chile releno was on top of enchilada, the compartment sides make it difficult to cut with knife. PLEASE go back to open plates!! if it isn’t broke don’t fix it!!

I’ve posted fantastic past experiences at various Miguel’s Jr and this would rate right up there with the others. Hands down, some of the best Mexican food anywhere. One additional thing that I’ve never mentioned, the “Fuze” raspberry tea is some of the best I’ve had so these guys have their dispensers calibrated perfectly….not like other companies that seem to turn theirs down where they taste watered down. Not Miguel’s. They are perfect. Keep up the good work Miguel’s!!!!

I prefer the ORIGINAL Miguel’s Jr. on 6th Street but the Hamner location is closer to me. This location is usually busy but the service and staff are spot on. The food is always good too. Give it a try, you might like it.

I tried their adasa nachos. The meat was dry. Chips were burnt. The salsa was sour. It’s what happens when you go franchised. Miguel’s Jr was good over 20 years ago. Will never go back.

Had delivery. Carnitas plate, meat extremely dry and stringy, flour tortillas thin and heated until crisp. Chili verde pork plate missing corn tortillas entirely. Food was cool when received. Not satisfactory at all.

We got three of their beef enchilada bowls and they were freaking delicious. We went through the drive-thru and it was really fast and the girl gave us a ton of salsas without any side eye

I had three large tasty shredded beef street tacos after discussing the options with an extremely helpful cashier. As you can see, they are full of meat. Service was prompt and the restaurant is really clean. I Noted that the cost was really reasonable, too. I highly recommend eating here!
