First time visiting this restaurant. Looked them up, the reviews were good, as was the food. Since it was a Saturday, it felt like family time there, so our service was a little slow. No matter though, the family atmosphere made up for it. Food was very good, as was the drinks! If you’re in Catonsville I highly recommend it

Easily the best authentic food in the Baltimore area. Started with the house chips and salsa, added Carne Asada fries. Those fries were loaded with ground beef, cheese, onions, and cilantro. As for the two entrees, the Texas Tacos and the Birria Tacos. They both exploded with flavors. I enjoyed all the proteins on the TT: beef, pork, and chicken. You can also get a seafood option. The black beans were firm, and the rice is always a good topping. I found myself finishing the Birria Consommé like a bowl of soup. The soft corn tortillas were golden orange. They also offer excellent service, including self-seating, bar-top seating, and margaritas. So good I forgot to take pictures, but I will be back!

Horrible experience at the bar. Asked kindly for the bartender to make me a margarita & she said they only have batch made & refused to make a fresh one even though it’s all day happy hour without charging me full price! Which seems crazy! Also spilled the majority of the one margarita we did order…which was 15$! After receiving the service we did, we decided to close out & leave because we didn’t feel we were having a good experience. I would skip this place for sure! There are better ones not too far from here!.

I moved here from Texas around 2 years ago, and I have been desperately searching for actual Mexican food. I FINALLY found it!! Their chips and salsa were amazing. The salsa had actual spices! We got Raul’s Jalapenos to start. They are basically fried jalapenos stuffed with cheese. They were delicious! My husband had the Al Pastor plate, and I had the Enchilada platter. It came with 3 enchiladas, and they even let me get a variety! I had one cheese, 1 pork, and 1 chicken enchilada. They were so tasty. Their black beans and rice were great too! I meant to take a picture, but I got caught up and ate it all. We both left full and satisfied. They definitely have 2 new die-hard patrons!

The plate was empty at the end. The cactus salsa was extraordinary although the regular cactus was not the most appetizing. The service was very elegant. As someone who travels and rates alot of restraints this one will always be thought of. I love how authentic the environment was. El Agave or El must have A I don’t know but I loved it.
