We stopped in for lunch while traveling through Elizabethtown, and the Waffle House delivered exactly what we needed—comfort food and great service. Our grandchildren were thrilled with their waffles and crispy bacon, and for me, crispy hashbrowns sealed the deal on a perfect meal. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, and our server was truly outstanding—attentive, friendly, and fast. It’s the kind of place where simple food and genuine hospitality come together just right. A great stop for families on the road!

We haven’t been to a Waffle House in years and decided it was time to give it a go. For a Waffle House, we were pleasantly surprised. Our server was very attentive and checked on us numerous times. Food was good and prepared to our specifications. If you’re in the mood for a quick breakfast you won’t be disappointed coming here.

The server was very friendly and attentive. I feel bad that I forgot her name because she truly deserves praise. Even though we didn’t order much that late at night, she didn’t seem annoyed at all and kindly refilled our coffee multiple times.
The food was good and served warm, and the wait time from ordering to being served was just right. It’s a great place to enjoy a late-night meal without worrying about the restaurant closing.

I haven’t liked Waffle House since I was little, but hubby loves it!! I agreed to give them another try, and soooo glad I did. As long as they keep their cinnamon pancakes on the menu, they have a fan!! Prices are amazing!

5/23/24 – Supper time and we were driving in the rain. Decided to stop and dine in to let the rain pass. About five tables were full and the rest of the tables weren’t cleared. Our waitress took our order for drinks and brought them to us, and then we ordered our meals. This was the last thing the waitress did. The chef/cook was the only person there to take care of everyone and everything. We received everything we ordered. The food was good. The whole situation was like being in a bad movie scene. We were given a discount on the meals, but tipped extra for the cooks efforts to make everyone happy.

I hope our waiter was new because he was super slow and inattentive. The waffle was undersized and I watched as the cook made several more that way. There was also a health department issue that I discovered after I sat down. The air conditioner was dripping on my head. When I reacted to being hit on my head by a drop of water the waiter was unsurprised and said it’s an ongoing problem. So, look forward to possible fungal infections…

First time at a waffle house, and I heard many people rave about it. Personally, I thought that it was ok and the coney Islands in Michigan are miles ahead of the game. The coney Island menus are much larger and of a high quality, basing it on what I ordered. Besides that, our server Amanda was very polite and welcoming.

First return to Waffle House in many years (because they stopped expanding north at the Ohio border!). Great service. We asked if they had hot sauce packets or anything to go. Our waitress offered to give us an almost empty bottle of hot sauce. A regional manger looking guy held the door open for us when we arrived. Just the difference between places like Waffle House and some other fast food places. Fun watching the cooks work. I appreciate the assembly line optimization of the work. There’s no wasted movement. Good comfort food. The plates fill up the table! Only thing is I remember the menu being bigger 25 years ago ♂️
