I’ll be honest — Torchy’s Tacos has never really been my go-to spot. Their tacos are just okay in my opinion, nothing that really stands out to me. I know a lot of people love them, but they’re just not for me. However, I decided to give them another shot and tried their new salad with grilled chicken, and wow — it was absolutely incredible. The flavors were spot-on, the chicken was perfectly cooked, and the ingredients tasted so fresh. I would absolutely go back just for that salad. It was a total game-changer.
The customer service was also fantastic. The staff was super accommodating, answering all my questions and making adjustments to my order since I don’t drink certain alcohols. I really appreciated that level of attentiveness. Of course, I couldn’t resist ordering a Mexican candy, and they made sure it was just right.
If you’re a fan of their tacos, you’ll probably enjoy them as usual, but for me, the salad is the star of the show. Definitely worth stopping by again just for that. And even if the tacos aren’t your thing, the location is great, and the staff is welcoming.

When I arrived I was greeted by Ronnie. I felt welcomed. Also, he explained ways to combine two separate appetizers so I didn’t overpay (it happened at a different location). Ronnie seems dedicated to the company and customers alike. At one point, he walked from the register to my booth specifically to check on me. When Vivacious arrived to work she did the same along with a big smile. The bartender, Suzie, also checked in on me shortly before I left. The service was so good I thought, for a minute, that I was being pranked. I’ll go back to order something simply because of their hospitality. My mood was definitely elevated when I left.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking Torchy’s is Mexican food. Torchy’s takes tacos to the furthest extreme. Depending on your taste you can choose tacos with beef,chicken, pork or seafood. The queso dip and avocado appetizers are great tasting and are large servings. The food was great.

One of my favorite places to go during the week. Hooky hour is unmatched. It’s rarely overcrowded and I get what I order almost immediately. Suzy the bartender is fantastic and everyone else who works there has been great. Good place to come have some drinks and tacos!

I ate at this Torchy’s location on 2/18/26 and within a few hours I became very sick with symptoms consistent with food poisoning. I can’t say for certain what caused it, but this was the only meal I had that day, and the timing was concerning. I wanted to share my experience so the management can look into food safety practices. I hope this was just an isolated incident.

Liked a lot, we are from Dallas, and just by luck we come here, really good tacos they are fresh made, good size and taste really good, y tried crossroads, normally y eat like 6 tacos, but with 3 of these you are good, they are not the cheapest place to go to eat, but the price it’s ok for the quality of the food.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times. I enjoy it well enough. The tacos are really good and are pretty flavorful. I felt the names for the tacos were even better than the tacos. The service is fast, efficient, and accurate. They didn’t get in the way of a good dining experience.
I would give the tacos a 4 out of 5. The chips and guacamole 5 out of 5. The chips were really, really good.
