Nice place on the water- I had the lobster Benedict with Key Line hollandaise- sooo good, the potatoes that came with it were yummy too! My friend had a chicken quesadilla which was also good. With a skinny marg and a mojito it was a hefty lunch bill $76. But we enjoyed the food and service as well as water view.

We had the best dinner! We shared the fried red snapper and seafood pasta that were both absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous. The kids couldn’t stop talking about how good everything was. They actually asked if we could have the same meal again for breakfast the next morning! It was truly a memorable meal, thanks to chef Juan: fresh, flavorful, and full of love.

One of the most beautiful places you can visit to watch the sunset. Excellent food, and the staff is very attentive and dedicated to pleasing every customer. Special thanks to food runner Gabriel for being so kind and professional. Definitely the best choice.

Visiting for the week and came here on our last evening for a date night dinner. It was a bit cool, so the deck was enclosed. But we still had a beautiful bay view of the sunset. The food was delicious : tuna ceviche appetizer, bohemian grouper, and red snapper. Service was friendly and attentive but not obtrusive. Thank you to our server, Victor Cruz, for a wonderful dining experience!

One of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. I can’t recommend it enough. The Stuffed artichoke bottoms, Chilean Seabass, and key lime pie were all amazing. The renowned executive chef even visited the table to check on us. Fantastic experience overall.

This one gets a 5-star! This is an outdoor only restaurant (upstairs). The service and food were amazing. We had the grouper with a citrus sauce and sweetened mashed plantains and seabass oscar over scalloped potatoes and asparagus and carrots. Server was knowledgeable of gluten-free options. The night turned chilly and I was not prepared with a jacket, so they lowered the “windbreaker” (basically a clear plastic cover). This made the outside setting perfect.

Our server was good, but the food runner guy,Grabriel was the one who truly shined. He anticipated what we needed, checked in with a great attitude, and provided service that went above and beyond. A real star at Flipper’s.We will definitely be coming back. This young man should be a server

Atmosphere is beautiful, looking out over the water. Can be seated inside or outside. I ordered the Mahi Mahi sandwich with remould sauce and coleslaw. Very good, portions are bigger than normal. Love their coleslaw. I plan to be back, would highly recommend this place.

We went at 4pm on a Saturday with a large group of 12. We were told immediately by the very rude, young hostess that it would be 2 hours for a table and even after that wait they can’t guarantee they could seat us together and they do not push tables together for large parties. We decided to hold out and wait in the bar area which is essentially a dock next to the water.
Again, the bartender was rude and looked openly annoyed at our large party getting drinks from her. After 30 mins, one of the hostesses came down to the bar area and said we can seat 8 of you at two tables of 4 but I need to know right now otherwise I need to give the tables away. At this point we were pretty sure they were not going to accommodate us to eat together at one table so we said fine, we will put the kids on our laps.
The food was fine, not quite the culinary experience we expected for the price. The coconut shrimp was tasty, but the rice pilaf it came with was plain. The salmon also didn’t have much flavor but was cooked perfectly. The view was definitely pretty. The key lime pie was better at Doc Fords.
They make you valet park, but as we were leaving and waiting for our cars, it was down pouring so we waited under an awning at the entrance and another hostess came and “yelled” at us, saying we need to wait for our vehicles in the rain.
If you have a big group or a group with kids, I don’t recommend it. It’s probably a fine place for a group of 2-4 people but don’t expect too much from the food or service.
