This is my third time here and I can honestly say the service just gets better each time, I didnt think that was possible! Before going to any restaurant I always check the hygiene rating and I’m happy to see theyve kept their 5* rating.
First off we were greeted and welcomed by the staff and taken to our seat. We had our order taken and food arrive in great timing. The food is still exceptional but the staff are what makes it special!

”I can’t express how much I loved our Christmas lunch here! Everything was fantastic. The staff are so warm and friendly, and the restaurant looked stunning. Food-wise, I was blown away: the starters were phenomenal, and the lamb dhansak was hands-down the tastiest I’ve ever had (huge shout out to the kitchen team!). Even the rice and naan were perfection—fresh, light, and delicious. This was my first visit, and I’m already planning my second. Thank you for a wonderful day!”

A deliberately “old school” curry restaurant with a comprehensive menu of old favourites and newer dishes, available to suit a wide range of tastes and preferences. There’s plenty of choice for vegetarians as well as shellfish, fish, lamb, and chicken. The only thing missing (thank goodness!) is pools of ghee – our food was all crisp and fresh, including some superb breads, samosas, and pakora. Lovely.

100% recommend. Has its own car park. Food is fresh and servers are fast, friendly, and very cheerful. Easy to find, a couple of miles off the A1.

We came here last night as a party of 8 for my husband and his brothers birthday celebrations. We were seated quickly and the drinks order was taken within 5 minutes of been seated, however thats when it all went downhill. The fanta and coke were flat and room temp and clearly poured from a 2ltr bottle instead of draught, someone then came 10 minutes later and took our starters and mains order from us, bearing in mind this was at 7.10pm! We arrived at 7pm so thought this was nice and quick but unfortunately We didnt get our starters until 8.35pm! Very slow service and just seemed to constantly forget about us!
Food was beautiful and the staff were polite which made it abit better. Hopefully they can improve on there wait times abit better and upgrade to draught soft drinks.

My family and I are currently on holiday and decided to give this little gem of a restaurant a try. To say that we were blown away is an understatement. The diningroom is beautiful and the staff are so friendly and enthusiastic. And the food…the food!!…is just out of this world. If you would rather not sit in at the restaurant Lal Khazana also does takeaway. Finally, the restaurant bathrooms are clean and smell nice. This was a very pleasant surprise for me…so far on this holiday quite a few restaurants haven’t had clean and tidy bathrooms.
