Enjoyed their Halibut tacos combo. Wish they added more sauce to the tacos though. Horchata was refreshing & on point! They charge a bit more if you pay with card, so keep that in mind. The dining area was a bit untidy & booth seating windows were dusty. Needs some detailed cleaning to keep this place fresh. Energetic staff! Friendly & speedy service. Overall, a solid spot for Mexican cuisine.

Best street style tacos in Fairbanks. Absolutely love their asada, tortillas are spot on, and rice/beans are good. Food came out quick. Customer service was great, employees are friendly. Eating area and restrooms were clean.
The chip and dip is more like nachos with guacamole on top and the cheese, although very good, is not very stringy so the chips slide out leaving the mass of cheese behind.
Overall, very impressed and we’ll definitely be back!

Their fried ice cream is the bees knees! The gringo tacos were tasty. I enjoy the convenience of the drive-thru but the atmosphere inside has always been good. The only bad experience I have had is ordering soda and it tasting like soda water but they are always happy to help fix the issues. Good price point for what you get. Employees are always friendly.

The food was okay. We had special tacos and rice and beans. It was an average taste. We had food at many Mexican restaurants but here the taste was very bland. Also they do not provide nachos and salsa like other Mexican restaurants

All hail the king!!!! I decree Taco King as having the best Mexican food in all the North, a bastion of grease and cheese. Many a soul make the pilgrimage to taste the exotic flavors of the southern hemisphere, and I dare say it is worth the journey. The tamales, quesadillas, and nachos are most excellent. Okay, so here I am in Fairbanks, Alaska, and I am in need of some good old Mexican food, which, to me is just food. My buddy Joe tells me about Taco King and how his family loves it. We go for dinner and I am impressed. I had the Lengua combo and my wife had the Birria Tacos. Both dishes were very good. The beans and rice were spot on and the Birria and Lengua on point. The atmosphere was great and I loved the chairs. It’s definitely a must have if you are in Fairbanks. Saludos a Taco King in Fairbanks. A toda M!

We found this place on a whim. My wife wanted tacos but we knew it would be difficult to find good tacos in Fairbanks.
So we ordered 3 steak tacos and 3 carnitas. First let me say the carnitas were bomb! Prices seem higher then what im used to BUT everything is priced higher in Alaska. Tacos seem light on the meat. It’s 2 corn tortillas per tacos with what seemed like a tablespoon of meat. So it was too much tortilla. Also I wish they given us salsa for our tacos. I think the tacos might of had some. But we couldn’t tell. I still give it 4 stars because I would go back to try other things on the menu.
