Decided to try and new place to eat fish tonight, Ross’s in Lordstown. Tired of spending good money for bad food and cheap utensils. The best part of the meal was the coleslaw. The fish was definitely not fresh or hand battered, they were out of 2 of the sides they normally have. Very, very disappointed, what a waste of money.

We had an awesomely delicious dinner from here last night. We ordered one of their Monday specials. They have specials every day as well as their regular menu. We ordered the Stuffed Chicken Breast which was so tender..filled with yummy home made dressing smothered in a delish gravy. We got this with divine home made mashed potatoes and rice pilaf. We also ordered a 1/2 slab of fall off the bone ribs with a superb sauce. Sooo good. These we got with skinny fair style fries and rice pilaf. Last but not least some utterly delicious fried chicken. Again the chicken was so tender and the coating awesome! We got that with Jo Jo’s and rice pilaf. It is so mych fun to find a hidden gem like Ross’.

I absolutely LOVE Ross’ pub! It’s definitely a locals hangout with really good people. There’s an outdoor area with plenty of seating and cornhole. They have Queen of Hearts on Tuesdays and Karaoke on Thursdays. The bartenders are attentive and beautiful. The owner is very accommodating and truly cares about his patrons. I love the Arizona Ranch Garlic Parmesan boneless wings and the EW barbecue is delicious on everything. If you’re in a hurry and can’t order off of the menu they have daily specials ready to grab and go. Definitely recommend everyone give it a try.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Let me tell you about the absolute nightmare of an experience we had with this establishment. My wife and I had NEVER been to Ross’ Eatery and Pub before, but we were in the area and decided to give it a shot. The internet said they were open until 9 PM, but to be sure, I called ahead. Not once, but TWICE. The last call, at 7:11 PM, I spoke to a man who assured me they’d still be open for my wife to place an order. He even mentioned if it got close to 9 PM, they’d just put the food in a warmer for us. Great, right? WRONG.
My wife drove out of her way to get there, arriving at 7:45 PM, only to be told the kitchen was CLOSED. Closed! By the SAME guy I had spoken to on the phone not even 30 minutes earlier. When she called me, I thought maybe there was a mistake, so I called back to confirm she was at the right place. The same man answered, and his response? “Yeah, we’re closing now.” WHAT?! So which is it? Open until 9 PM? Open until 7:45 PM? Or just “open when we feel like it”?
What kind of incompetent operation runs like this? I SPECIFICALLY called to confirm the times, got reassured TWICE, and then you turn my wife away when she gets there? Talk about misleading, unprofessional, and downright disrespectful to a new customer. We were excited to try this place, and instead, we got a complete slap in the face. This isn’t just poor service—it’s a blatant disregard for your customers’ time, money, and effort.
I’ll tell you one thing: I wouldn’t step foot in this place again if they PAID me to. If you’re considering Ross’ Eatery and Pub, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Judging by the similar reviews I’ve seen, this seems to be a pattern. Consistently bad service, misleading information, and zero accountability.

This is a little hole in the wall place from what I can tell. It wasn’t what I expected, but they had fantastic spaghetti, which is a tall order for getting good spaghetti at a restaurant, usually either watery or horrible sauce, but they managed to nail it

Bartender was rude, never waited on us had to go to the bar order are drinks, pick up my drinks from the bar and had to order and pick up my own food from the restaurant. Just a reminder you get tips and I tip well. Today you will get $0 tips. Have a nice day!!!! Where are the good bartenders who are friendly. Haven’t had this problem here since GM closed. So are we back to that, you choose to wait on the big company personnel. Well I was still coming here when they all went under. Thoughts to ponder for your business.

The food was average but if want to eat there get it to go stay out of the bar area unless you like 12 inch cob webs hanging on the ceiling fans over your table and the bar tenders don’t have a clue on how to serve table this was the worse experience I have ever had. You will be better off going to Burger King.
