Jessie was our server and she made the night feel extra special. She welcomed us right away, checked in just enough without interrupting, and really took the time to make sure our birthday girl felt celebrated. Her timing and energy were perfect , friendly, thoughtful, and on top of everything even with a busy dining room.
The food came out fresh and hot, and the portions were huge , definitely made for sharing. We loved the rigatoni and linguini the most, and we all left full and happy.
The atmosphere was fun and lively, which is exactly what you want on a family celebration night.
Thank you Jessie for helping make my aunt’s birthday dinner such a memorable night. We’ll be back soon!
Most dishes are between $19-26 which serve 3-5 people so you only need a few dishes for a large group. The food is good, not great. But, definitely worth a visit.
First thing you’ll notice is how open this location is. Others I’ve visited over the years always had several unusually small dining rooms, I’m looking at you Anaheim. But here the dining room is large including several theme rooms for bigger parties. Seating also is ample with large family sized booths.
Everyone we encountered was friendly and knowledgeable, helping us navigations drinks and dinner. They were out of both IPAs, same thing happened at another location. Not sure what’s up with that, so if you like drinking those, be warned.
There were 4 of us dining in so we were able to share quite a number of dishes. Standouts included their crispy-crunchy Fried Mozzarella appetizers. I mean fried cheese, what’s not to love. Chicken Parmigiana also reflected delicious crunch all smothered in sauce and cheese. Along side we ordered a Buca Big Fettuccini Alfredo, I’m pretty sure this was a couple of pounds of pasta. I’ve been eating leftovers since. All delicious and honestly, I was surprised the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente.
On a side note, if you are only 1-2 guests and sit in the bar, you can order from their lunch menu. This includes smaller versions of their most delicious items. Perfect for a regular weeknight meal.
I’m pretty happy they opened so close to our place downtown. It’s nice to have another pasta forward option in the area. Now they just need to get their IPA game together.
Was so nice enough to asked us always.
The price also does not validate the taste
