The Tagliatelle pasta had perfect texture to it, and the lasagna was amazing. It’s just the perfect amount of sauce to noodle to meat and cheese ratio. My friend is also picky with lasagna and said he enjoyed it as well. The minestrone soup was very warming and delicious to eat. The veggies tasted so fresh in it! The pizzas are also good here. I’m not a huge fan of pizza but theirs was delish! The bread wasn’t too dense, but it was still chewy. I highly recommend dining here if you’re craving some Italian.
Tiramisu was nice with espresso.
My partner and I enjoy finding good food that does not break the bank! We came across this restaurant from Google searches and also a recommendation from our Airbnb host. He told us this is the best Italian restaurant in town!
The open at 6pm and we arrived around 6:20 pm, and the restaurant was very busy! We didn’t make a reservation but would advise that you do as many tables were reserved. And as soon as we leave, our table was occupied by other guests.
The interior gives you a vibe that you are on a ship. The team works efficiently and greets you with warmth. It was a lovely experience.
We ordered:
– pizza speciale
– carbonara
– wheat beer
– Radler
The bill came to just over €30 and the portion size was generous. Would definitely visit again 🙂
The owner is super friendly and the price is quite cheap for Baden baden.
However, the food was okay but not exceptional, and there were some insects ( like cockcroachs…)on the wall next to the tables that we were sitting.
Reserved a table for 1930, arrived 5 minutes early, told to stand at the side ans given a glass of prosecco whilst stood amongst 3 or 4 other groups all waiting.
Eventually got offered two seats on the end of someone elses table of 6… tad awkward but whatever, as soon as we sat we were swarmed with flies… table next to us was eating their food as fast as they could whilst batting flies away.
Unfortunately this was so off putting and stressful we just got up and left.
The service was awesome, the atmosphere was rustic and comfortable.
We will visit this place again when we are in Baden-Baden!
