Great service and the sampler platter allowed us to enjoyed a variety of things. Looking forward to coming back to try other menu items – lots of things looked great.

Food came quickly and everything was hot. The side of rice was huge and we had leftovers.

Cayo Caribe was absolutely amazing! The menu is extensive and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ceviche was perfectly balanced and refreshing, and the mofongo was hands-down one of the best I’ve had—crispy, savory, and packed with flavor.
The seafood sampler was a hit too, with a great variety of fried items cooked just right. Drinks were on point, and the overall atmosphere made it a great spot to relax and enjoy the meal. On top of all that, the service was spectacular—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish.

This place was recommended by a few local people. You must try this place. The ambiance might not be that great and upscale but the food and drinks are excellent . We tried the Mofongo, Pechuga De Pollo Al Ajillo, Arepa De Carrucho- Conch Arepa, 2 Pescado 2 Camarones tacos, Empanadilla De Churrasco.Loved the cocktails , interesting fruity flavors.
Do try this place.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. The food was excellent, the ceviche was fresh, well-portioned, and exactly what I was hoping for. The fried chicken appetizer was packed with flavor. Our waitress was attentive and polite, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. I’d absolutely come back.

I had the fried salmon and cream cheese balls, a crab meat arepa, a chicken empanadilla, and some white sangria. The arepa wasn’t very good, there were several shell pieces in it. The rest was good, especially the salmon cream cheese balls. The service was also very good.

On a night out, we stopped in for a quick bite. We started with an empanada (de juetes) stuffed with crab. While the empanada wasn’t big, it was almost perfect in taste. You really get a good amount of juetes. We then enjoyed chicken mofongo and teriyaki steak quick were pretty good. The Mofongo was very tasty with a perfect texture. Sometimes places make them too soft or too hard (⏯️⏸️) The Chicken teriyaki was also very good, maybe slightly sweet, but still to much. Our server was very attractive and very warm. We will be visiting again.

seafood flavor and amount are legit. we really liked their hot sauce options. ceviche was refreshing byt not too acidic. asopao de mariscos was very comforting. I asked for no rice version so it eats like a soup.

Our second time coming and to be honest it is a really good place to come eat. The food is great, the presentation also really good, and the service is actually very good! People are very nice and cordial. Our server, Angel, was attentive, cordial and just overall the best. The place has a very nice atmosphere! I recommend

Not a fancy place and service was not bad. They said there was a 30 minute wait but the restaurant was pretty empty. The lobster risotto had a lot of lobster and was flavorful. My husband had the grouper with extra seafood. The sauce was tasty and the fish and seafood was plentiful

Came into Cayo Caribe – Old San Juan with a party of 6. The staff was not thrilled to see us. It took about 25 minutes just for a server to come over and acknowledge us, then she acted like we were inconveniencing her. We all ordered mixed drinks from the bar, which came relatively quickly. We would’ve ordered more drinks but our server never came back around to ask if we needed/wanted anything else. Seems like a missed opportunity for her to rack up the bill/tip with the automatic gratuity. I ordered the Relleno de Jueyes and there was shell in every bite making it inedible. One of the other girls in my party felt sick after the meal. At the end of the meal, I had to track down our waitress so we could leave and enjoy Old San Juan. Atmosphere felt like an American chain restaurant. This was definitely the worst meal we had during our trip.
