I was anticipating some amazing things based upon reviews and the history. Unfortunately, I was somewhat underwhelmed. Granted I ordered of the lunch menu but ordering a $24 meal one would expect more than just meat, thinking it came with a side dish of more than 4 green beans and 2 pieces of broccoli. Leaving hungry was unexpected. I little forwarding by the waitress would have been helpful.

I’ve driven by this place a million times but had never eaten here. We were in the area and stopped in for dinner with a few friends. The service here is great and the staff are super friendly. However, the food is average Italian at best. The lasagna wasn’t good and something was missing, but I can’t figure out what. The Risotto with steak bites was very salty and the Caesar salad was just OK. The prices were fine if the food was really good, but since it wasn’t, we won’t be coming back again. There are other Italian restaurants in the area in the same price range with much better food.
The cocktails were good, but we won’t be coming back just for the cocktails.

My daughter had her wedding celebration at Picanos last month. From the beautiful private room to the wonderful wait staff service to the excellent food we had an amazing time. I highly recommend having your next event at Picanos.

Had plenty of seating but it was the holiday season when I went. The calamari was great. My wife’s salad was pretty good, however my pasta needed a little more salt/pepper, which was already provided on the table. Overall though, a pleasant experience and I would bring my friends here given the chance.

I love this restaurant, and our family enjoys coming on special occasion, and the food is always fantastic, and the service is always just wonderful.
We had my father in law’s funeral luncheon here this past weekend and everything was incredible. The service, the room, the food, our main waitress was sweet as can be, and the guys helping her were great.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful everything was.
My sisters and I went to school with some of the Picano kids (Chrissy) and we have always loved and supported this restaurant and we will continue to.

This is our new go-to Italian place. The food was excellent and the prices very fair for the quality and amount of food. We got arancini, some pasta, salads, and dessert which were all fantastic. The desserts are pretty much all made in house and you can tell – both the tiramisu and limoncello cake were top notch. They also have great bread with flavorful oil to dip in. We will be back!

We’ve been going to Picano’s for over 35 years but yesterdays experience was unacceptable. We had a reservation for 6 people celebrating Christmas. First of all they sat us in a room that was having 3 large groups even though the restaurant was very empty at the time. We ordered 2 appetizers, fried calamari and fried mozzarella sticks. The calamari had an old oil taste, the mozzarella sticks had a similar taste. With the entrees, the chicken siciliano was rubbery, the pasta dish, short regatti with mushrooms and mini meatballs had a burnt tomato sauce taste and very oily. One in our group ordered cacio & pepe pasta that was basically buttered noodles, no pepper or cacio cheese. Other than the service and the bread, this was a terrible experience. Unfortunately, after frequenting this restaurant for all these years, this will be the last time I will be going there. There are much better Italian restaurants in the area to visit

Family of 7 (all adults) with reservations for 6pm. We waited over 2 hours for our food. Waitress apologized once saying the kitchen staff was shorthanded. The waitress informed us 30 minutes after placing our order that they were out of baked potatoes and offered extra pasta instead. Manager came over after about 90 minutes laughing about the wait with a non heartfelt apology. The only thing the restaurant did for our table was bring one person a free glass of wine. My $25 spaghetti was not worth the experience.
