Unfortunately, Viva Margarita has gone completely downhill.

My friends and I ordered drinks that were genuinely undrinkable, they tasted like motor oil. They were, without exaggeration, the worst drinks we’ve ever been served. We politely asked if they could be remade and explained how bad they tasted. The waiter told us they could make new drinks but would still charge us for both the disgusting drinks and the replacements. He said he’d speak to the bartender, then disappeared and only returned when our food arrived, clearly trying to avoid the issue. When I asked if he spoke to the bartender, he casually said, “That’s how the drinks are made,” and that nothing could be done.

At that point, we accepted the overpriced drinks and didn’t even drink them.

It was Taco Tuesday, which somehow made things worse. The tacos didn’t meet even Taco Bell standards. To make matters unacceptable, I bit into a taco and pulled out a hair from my mouth. Based on how dismissive the waiter had already been, I hesitated to say anything and unfortunately, my instinct was right. When my friends told him about the hair, he laughed and said it was my hair, then claimed the chef is bald so it must be mine. I’m not sure how my hair would end up inside a taco, but he outright accused us of planting it there.

After that, we were ignored for the rest of the night. The restaurant was practically empty, yet the service was hostile, dismissive, and unprofessional. The atmosphere felt dead and uncomfortable.

This used to be a nice place, but that experience is completely gone. Between the awful drinks, low-quality food, and shockingly rude service, this was an all-around terrible experience. We won’t be returning.

Visited Viva Margarita twice. The first time the service was very slow, and the chips were served cold. The second time, I received a damaged glass at the bar, and the TVs were off, which made the atmosphere a bit boring.

However, I have to say the drinks are really good. With more attention to these details, this place could be much better.

This was a quaint Mexican restaurant with delicious food and very attentive and friendly service. We enjoyed the music and decor. The food was fresh, flavorful and the presentation was lovely. The drinks were also very tasty. They were not watered down and had the right balance of alcohol. Our food and drinks were served quickly. We really enjoyed our time there. I highly recommend a visit.

We’ve been coming here for a while now, and it never disappoints! The staff and Ramon, the manager is truly the best — always welcoming and attentive. The food is consistently on point, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly every time.

Our server, Susanna, is amazing! She makes the best tableside guacamole and always serves us with a smile. Highly recommend!

Viva Margarita is a delightful Mexican restaurant that offers a unique experience, particularly with its dedicated drink menu, which stands out for its variety and creativity. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, regularly checking in to ensure a pleasant dining experience.

However, while the food is excellent, the prices are somewhat on the higher side, which may be a consideration for some guests. We ordered appetizers and drinks together, but there was a noticeable delay in receiving our drinks, even after placing a reorder. The food arrived first, and we had nearly finished half the dish before the drinks were served. Despite the wait, the quality of the drinks was impressive and definitely made up for the delay.

In conclusion, Viva Margarita offers delicious food and drinks, though the pricing may be a bit steep for some. Overall, it’s a great spot for those looking for a flavorful, high-quality dining experience.

It is one of my favorite budget friendly restaurants. The food tastes good. Even though the tacos tasted a bit different for a while a few years back which I stopped going, they are back to their standard quality. I see the service people change quite a bit each time I go except a few ones, so I think management should figure this out. We weren’t happy with our waiter last time we went there. He was making faces during our order. Other than that, everything was good enough to enjoy a dine-out.

We love coming to this place, weekly. From the food to the service, this place is a gem we found and are now hooked to. Susana is our server just about everytime we come and she is excellent. From her welcoming smile, to her great customer service to making us feel welcomed every time, this place is great. Let me not forget to share the Maragrita’s are delicious and the food is so tasty!! Happy Hour and drink specials are also available throughout the week. If you haven’t been here, you need to visit soon.

I’m rarely in the area but today after having work done on my car, I looked to my left and spotted Viva Margarita. Since it was lunch time and I was a tad bit hungry, I decided to check it out. Let me just say, I’m so happy with my decision. I was immediately acknowledged upon entering. I ordered a Shrimp Burrito to go. Honestly this was one of the best Burritos I’ve had in a long time. The bread was so soft and fresh; as a matter of fact, everything tasted really fresh. This was my first time hear, but I can assure you it won’t be my last. Although Viva Margarita isn’t near any place that I frequent, I will go out of my way in the future to explore other menu items.

I’ve been to Viva Margarita a few times, and I absolutely love it! One of the standout features besides the decor is the complementary salsa – it’s amazing, and good salsa is hard to come by these days! The tableside guacamole is delicious, especially since it’s tailored to your taste. The loaded nachos are a must-try, as is the Quesabirria (I prefer the goat, but the beef is great too). For entrees, I’m a fan of the Street tacos, enchiladas, and tostadas, all of which come with rice and beans if I’m feeling extra hungry. My boyfriend and I also love sharing the Molcajete, which has chicken, steak, shrimp, fried cheese, jalapeño, and chorizo. And, of course, no visit to Viva Margarita would be complete without trying their margaritas – the jalapeño cilantro one is a game-changer, and I always get it along with a Patron Perfect Margarita. Unfortunately, I don’t have photos of all of the items I mentioned – the phone didn’t get to eat/Drink first!”
