The vegetable omelet is great – fresh vegetables and fluffy eggs. The fresh baked cinnamon roll – AMAZING!!! Our waitress was wonderful, friendly, and had great suggestions.

Just happened to find this place coming back from Cleveland. Great food. Great service. My son and I had the country fried steak, my wife had the open faced roast beef, and my daughter had the Cleveland club sandwich. Potato skins for an appetizer. All of us were extremely happy with our selections. This never happens. Loved this place. Wish we would have had room to try the pies. Very reasonable pricing on everything.

The aroma of corned beef hash instantly awakens a decade of memories! Grilled chicken is crispy and tender, and the country fried steak is so big that knives and forks fight ~ peanut butter pie is the treasure of the store, so silky and rich that I want to steal the recipe! The waitress has a smile on her face, and at $15 per person, you get the warmth of a grandma’s kitchen. Although the fries are occasionally out of order, and the floor is covered with age-old batter, this ancient flavor is even inferior to IHOP. You must leave the store to carry the whole Buckeye pie, chocolate mixed with peanut butter sweetness to grasp, is Ohio dessert textbook!

The Lyn-Way does not disappoint. My wife and I both ate well for under thirty dollars. She had some kind of chicken with cheese on it, I had the walleye with a baked sweet potato and brussel sprouts. Great service, great price, beautiful and clean environment, highly recommended!

Haven’t been here in 10 years., since moving out of Ashland. Work had me in the area, so I decided to have lunch here. Got the sirloin and steak fries. Steak was cooked perfectly. The real reason I stopped was for the Peanut Butter pie. Haven’t had any as good as this place in 10 years. I’ve even tried to create a similar but failed. I asked the lady for the recipe, but she wouldn’t give it up. She did give me some tips, that I appreciate and I can’t wait to experiment. Absolutely friendly and attentive staff. Brought a whole PB pie home with me. Highly recommended.

Sooo…disappointed !! My husband and I have enjoyed Lyn-Way since relocating to this area… but yesterday we went and I ordered my favorite meal and it was terrible! The onions were cold and crunchy (supposed to be grilled) the mushrooms were slimy and rubbery. After 3 bites of my grilled chicken breast I discovered it was still pink inside!! I pushed a full plate away. Server asked if I wanted a box. I sad no thank you. She never asked if there was something wrong with the food. The manager never came over. So my dinner consisted of potato salad (that had way too much celery in it) as a side that came with my meal. I’m not sure if I would consider going back and I don’t plan on recommending Lyn-Way to anyone at this point. So sad.

I went with a group of friends last week for lunch. It was my first trip to Lyn-Way. The entire staff was awesome! Or server was Phoebe, she is a sweetheart! The food was great! You have to save room for the pie! Thank you Lyn-Way for a great meal! I will be back!!!

Diner food 4 stars. Pie, 5 stars! I got the cherry pie, and unlike many gelled fillings, this was a true cherry filling with just the right amount of tartness. I can’t wait to go back when rhubarb is in season and see if they can pull that one off.
