Our server was completely 100% on point. (Was her name Shelby? Yeah…? maybe? I’m terrible at remembering names) She was way on top of her game. We didn’t go without, even for a second.
The food was just amazing. I had just had a procedure where I couldn’t eat, so this was my first meal in over 24 hours- and omg, it hit that spot hard! I had the All American and it was all delish. The eggs, cooked perfectly over medium, were gorgeous. I should have taken y’all a pic.
Anyway, I highly recommend this Waffle House! It offers fantastically prepared food and superb service!
We ordered a simple All Star Special and a Texas Bacon Cheesesteak Melt. Both came very promptly and were spot on. This place has an amazingly efficient system and they are remarkably consistent across locations, and I have visited MANY in very diverse locations across multiple states even. This location was clean, pleasant, and our server Andrew was one of the most spot-on, polite, informed, and responsive employees of any chain I have encountered.
The items we ordered were probably as expensive as they get here, and with two drinks, our entire bill was $26. Not at all bad, and I didn’t have to cook/clean late at night!
I recommend this chain in general and this location specifically for a reasonably priced, quick turn-around meal. In this category, I’m giving them high marks.
But whatever they are doing HERE…is voodoo magic. I frequent waffle house about twice a year, for the last 35 years…but I have been back to this one 3 weeks in a row. I felt in a way…I wanted them to drop the ball.
Didnt happen. Their cooks are the best. Their servers are the best. It is incredible when you hear and watch a 13 person order thrown over to the “chefs,” and then calmly lay it out visually…then make it happen.
Maybe its like a super bowl team and this crew is “right place/right time”…however…I think its something more.
If you need a 24 hour experience…dont look further than here and definitely go an extra 5 to 10 miles to get here. The drive is worth it.
I will be back…prob next week…
Disappointed today as the server spent her time doing sidework (cleaning dishes) instead of checking on us for refills and we watched our food die on the grill because she wasn’t on top of our meal . Several mistakes and when we asked for the correct food our waitress appeared as we were bothering her. Lots of Waffle houses, my suggestion is try a different one.
