For a bbq in Indiana I was surprised of the flavors of the smoked brisket and pulled pork was on point of a good Texas bbq. The poblento Mac and cheese was to die for also had the cheese potatoes was good reminded me of a hashbrown casserole. The big surprise was the white cheese corn it was delicious. Price was a little high but they made up for it in portion control. The service staff was super nice and she was very helpful and went above and beyond.

I got the bowl with potatoes, corn and pulled pork. Amazing taste. Big portions. Meat was perfect. House bbq sause was sweet and smoky. The corn was different and would recommend. I couldn’t help digging in before I took a picture.

The server was amazing. On top of the drinks and answered all questions.

The restaurant was clean and no complaints. Table with all sauces we as great. And they each had a sign with the flavors.

Very good recommend for a bbq place. The people here know what they are doing.

Run…don’t walk! This place is a hidden gem. As a self proclaimed foodie I’m super picky. This place is awesome. The service was great, charming atmosphere. The ribs were so delicious! The baked beans, corn bread and Mac and cheese also delicious. Looking forward to going back.

We’ve lived in the south and love our BBQ!

This place is awesome. The staff was attentive and the portion sizes and worth every penny of the reasonably menu items.
Wife had brisket with white corn cheddar and cheesy potatoes as sides – WoW!
I had burnt ends with shaved Brussel sprouts and fresh cold broccoli salad – phenomenal!!!

Again ample portions- hell, we took half our meals home…. Which our son promptly finished off

This is a great place and despite the 90 minute drive, we will return. Believe me, it’s worth the small detour off I-69 when running north or south.

We stopped on a Saturday just after noon, and just ahead of the lunch crowd.

I have enjoyed BBQ in many different places, both around the country and at various places in Fort Wayne. Each place has something different to offer, and I enjoy discovering new locations and what they bring to the experience. My daughter came with me and loved her food (and said that the portions were more than enough for her appetite). She also appreciated the overall vibe.
I had brisket, which had really well rendered fat. The bark was a little lighter than what I would expect in Texas, but it had a good flavor. The lean pieces were a little dry, but we were also there for dinner at a restaurant that serves all day. I had the mac and cheese as one side and the white cheddar corn as the other. They were both decent but clearly not the stars of the show. My daughter and I were both too full to try any desserts, but they looked good.
They have a wide variety of sauces, and I sampled a couple of them. Lucille’s might have the best BBQ sauce of any brick and mortar restaurant in Fort Wayne. The house sauce and raspberry chipotle were both excellent.
All in all, we had a great experience, and I would love to come back again sometime to sample some of their other offerings!

Dinner was amazing tonight! Oh my goodness, the brisket slaw taco was so good! Will be back for more of those! The 4 meats meal was very generous and delicious as well! Let’s talk about the cheesecake…the ultimate peanut butter and turtle are the ones we tried tonight and let me tell you, they are so creamy and delightful! Thank you Lucille’s for what you do!

Where do I start!?!!!!! The welcoming mouth watering smell that invades not only your nose but soul!!! Before you even open the front door!? As if it’s even possible it only goes up from here! The service, we had Jessica who is absolutely amazing, bbq sauce bar (spicy was my favorite!! ) , flavors, portions sizes, and price!! This place hits all the checks and then some!! We will definitely be eating here again! I had the Mac and cheese bowl with brisket and cheesy corn!!! It came with some of the best coleslaw I’ve EVER had and corn muffins that melted in my mouth! I truly do not think you can go wrong ordering ANYTHING on their menu!!
Definitely one of my favorite new places!!!!!!

Wouldn’t know what the food tastes like you call them at 6 o’clock, which is typical supper time. They don’t close for another three hours you’re a barbecue joint and you’re out of barbecue Chicken what a joke, Lucille needs fired!

Was there a couple Fridays ago and food was terrible, came out luke warm. We waited for over 25 minutes for our food, it’s clear the staff are more interested in standing around gossiping rather than taking care of the customers. Doesn’t even look like they can handle a regular dinner rush. Place has really fallen down hill. Wish I could say it was fluke but my friend said they ran into the same thing the Friday prior. Ridiculous, been coming here for a long time but not anymore, it’s just not the same. Shigs and pit is better because they actually care, you can tell Lucille’s stopped caring.
