My friend and I made pick up orders and sent our friends up there to pick up. We live 5 minutes away and 40 minutes later I called them to see if everything is good and both of them are confused because the orders are wrong and none of the workers know what’s going on. They just keep going around in circles like they have no idea how to do their job. I had to call the store to see what’s going on and the guy who answered the phone didn’t really know what’s going on. It’s simple. You get the order. You make the order. You put it in the bag. This place has really gone to shit.
The place is trashed, like literally disgusting.. we have tons of pictures after having to go inside after 45 minutes but this picture really sold it for us.
Another update.. my friend just got back over an hour later.. again we live 5 minutes from this location. The workers came to the drive thru in sunglasses at 10 at night. I can only imagine what these workers are on tonight. Like I don’t even wanna eat this food. Who knows what the hell these workers did.

I usually wouldn’t rate a McDonald’s, but this is the only one I will go to now. The staff are always so nice, especially the excited guy that typically runs the drive through speaker. Food is always hot and fresh, and the milkshake machine has never been down in my experience! Usually I have the tiniest amount of wait at the second window – but only because they are always wrapping up on finishing making my food fresh, and it’s typically like 2 minutes, if even.

Whitmore Lake Rd McDonald’s has the oddest layout of any McDonald’s I’ve ever been inside. It’s not user-friendly and there are zero menu boards except if you use the kiosks. The workers don’t pay attention to whether someone is at the counter wanting to order, partly because walls are blocking their view, as I saw happen to another customer waiting. The employee who handed me my food was friendly. One of my Grinch meals was missing fries, so that wasn’t great. I wanted them to stay hot while I drove in the cold, so I didn’t check the boxes before leaving. Lastly, someone was mopping the entire floor during the lunch rush and whatever solution they used was super slippery. I nearly fell, although I was wearing good winter boots. I said something to her and she apologized for not having the caution signs out yet. All in all, I don’t really want to go back to that location.

I don’t know why I keep coming back here I guess it has something to do with the fact that it’s conveniently located after picking our grandkids up from school. However, today the straw that broke the camels back occurred… The ice cream machine was broken again, The sprite tasted like pure soda water and it took 18 minutes to get five orders of french fries and four small drinks. The store is tired and beat up looking from the inside and outside. Apparently, getting employees is a problem because that’s what the cashier told me. However, I counted five people behind the line, cooking and servicing others. This store gives McDonald’s a very bad name. I finally have learned never to come back to this location. I suggest if you have any kind of alternative, any alternative at all, do not come here.

I loved how colorful and fun it was, the workers here had a fun humor when they put out the drinks and I felt rather good with how they all behaved!! Very sweet but professional! The place was clean, felt good, and the food was perfectly warm! Just what we needed after a 10+ hour road trip, and with how low traffic was it was perfectly calm

Went here around 10:30pm. Heard cars honking in drive thru and being rude towards the workers, due to a little bit of a wait time, I was told that the chicken strips were sold out twice in a row and it takes awhile to make those. I spoke to Becky at both windows, super super nice! I wish this staff the best, the hurried me through the line and were genuinely super sweet people and didn’t deserve the disrespect they were getting.

Clean restaurant with easy ordering via drive thru, kiosk, or regular line. Order was accurate, tasted fine, and the table was clean. It did take a little longer than normal, but the wait was acceptable. Easy highway access made it a quick off and on to continue our trip. Would stop here again. Also, they have a play place here – which is a rarity in McDonalds lately.
