Ate here today for a late lunch. It’s a cute little restaurant just off the Fennville exit. Cozy atmosphere. Service was good. Food was delicious. Had the fish basket with sweet potato fries (up charge, it comes with regular fries). We also got a size order of onion rings. First time being here and if I was in the area again, I would definitely go back. Reasonably priced.

Had a really enjoyable time last night for dinner. A band played, the place was hopping, and Will, our server was zipping around, tending to his customers with quickness and a joyful spirit.

You can tell this is a favorite spot for locals, listening to the cheers for the local music duo while enjoying the ambience and good food.

There were three dinner specials: Ribs, Filet, and Halibut ~ our party enjoyed all three. I had the Halibut along with fries and homemade coleslaw, that was really creamy & delicious. I tried some of the fall-off-the-bone ribs, and they were smothered in deliciousness.

It was my first time and The What NOT and I can’t wait to go back on my next visit to the area.

Stop in for a good time and good food!

We hadn’t been to the What-Not-Inn for years, so we stopped in around 730p on Sunday night for quick dinner. Happily surprised to walk into live music and nearly a full house of peeps enjoying the music, drinks and each other.
They quickly sat us and no time we had drinks and time to review our selections. Our server was great, unfortunately I didn’t catch his name. While super busy, he made sure we were taken care of. Our meals came quickly. I had lake perch (my all time favorite) & my husband had a pork tenderloin special. Both quite tasty!
In no time we singing along with the crowd as the band jammed thru some classic 60s & 70s tunes. It created the perfect vibe to top off a Sunday night. We’ll be back. Thanks!! ❤️

An authentic restaurant with great atmosphere. I just had the homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner that was amazing. My sister had the burrito which was also very very good.
We had very good service from our friendly server

This restaurant may be a bit off the beaten path and may not look like much from the outside, but it was one of the best places I have visited in a while. The service was very good and the food was wonderful. Exposed log beams and a somewhat dark main dining room make thus feel like a place you might find in the far northern parts of Michigan. However, there is an additional room built from glass reminiscent of a greenhouse, which is very cozy and unique. The burger was one of the better ones I have had recently. The meat was good quality and the bun was fluffy and toasted. The fries were also very good! If you are in the area and are looking for some good quality food without the frills, this is an excellent choice and worth traveling a bit out of the way to visit.

I love trying new places!
The minute I walked in the door it reminded me of my own “Cheers” bar that I worked at and I was thrilled to try their Sunday Brunch.

The serving staff was running, and I mean running. One or two more servers could have accommodated the flex of customers walking in the door. It took about 5 servers walking by me with my own saying 3 times I’ll be right with you before she finally took our drink orders.

I’m now going to be late for an appointment.

The food was timed about right for this kind of establishment so the delay had nothing to do with the kitchen staff. This was definitely a front of the house issue.

I could hear the girls complaining in the drink station from where I sat.

The breakfast was definitely filling!

I was disappointed with the French toast special. It was a diabetics death with too much sugar and the strawberries were frozen, not fresh! It’s strawberry season in Michigan, why are you using frozen berries?

Why wasn’t the entire serving of my son’s meal brought out at once? I can carry 4 plates, 5 at best in a hand carry! Does your staff need to learn how to hand carry?

I’ve had this place pinned for awhile now and finally made it for lunch on 7/22/24 @ 1:20ish. The food was so good, hot and the service was fast. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Our server Madilynn was super sweet and attentive.
My only drawback was the up charge to add 1-2 slices of onion to a burger. But it’s not a deal breaker.
The curtain in the women’s room was definitely a new experience

We will absolutely go back! Keep up the amazing work What-Not-Inn

Come for the roadhouse atmosphere and music on certain nights. Food can be hit or miss. Service is usually good but on busy nights, expect a wait. Weeknight specials can be a good value. I am local and have been here many times. Never though had an excellent meal, just ok. Last night I had the turkey Ruben which they forgot to add the coleslaw and it made for an edible but bland sandwich.

Best perch I’ve ever had and way more than I could eat. Could have split our entrees. My husband loved his fried chicken. The cole slaw was as good as other reviewers stated.
