We recently visited Wayback Burgers in Ellerslie and had a great experience. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious. I had the double patty burger and it was cooked perfectly — juicy, flavorful, and really satisfying. I also appreciate that they offer gluten-free options, which makes it easier for everyone to enjoy a meal there. I’ll definitely be back!

The food was very very good definitely worth checking out top notch 5/5 star for that type of restaurant it was best you could expect. The tater tots were the best I’ve ever had. The french fries and gravy was better than KFC. And the burgers were top-notch very good. Definitely beat my expectations by Longshot. They’re in a very nice location easy to get to used to get in and out. The waitress is very friendly and courteous even though I didn’t tip lol I forgot. Definitely worth going back

Tried Wayback Burgers during their Monday to Wednesday classic burger deal, which is honestly a really good value. We ordered five classic burgers. Two of them were very good and exactly what we expected.
Unfortunately, three of the burgers had patties that were quite burnt and fairly dry, which was disappointing. It was very busy at the time, so it felt like the kitchen might have been a bit overwhelmed with the volume of orders.
That said, the overall experience wasn’t bad, and since some of the burgers were done well, we’re willing to give it another try. Hiccups can happen anywhere, especially during busy promo times, and when it’s good, it’s definitely worth it.

I opted for the Classic Burger and it was pretty good. The fries were tasty as well. Not really knock-my-socks-off good but way better than many other burger bars.

We had been wanting to try this burger place for a while, and we’re so glad we finally did! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean and well-organized everything was. The layout of the kitchen—with its open concept separated by windows—was a nice touch. If you sit near the kitchen, you get a great view of the action, which adds to the overall experience.
The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, and the staff really stood out. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and seemed genuinely invested in making sure guests felt comfortable.
We ordered the classic burger and the cheesesteak sandwich. The food came out quickly and was piping hot—so hot, in fact, that we had to wait a moment before digging in! Both dishes were absolutely delicious, and it was clear they were made with care.

We love going to Wayback burgers for our date nights! The have such a fun vibe there. Their Gluten Free bun is so yummy and the Gluten free fries are delicious and came in a big portion which was great! This is one of the first places where the Gluten Free portions felt equally to a regular portion. That made me so happy to see!

First time here and really surprised. The interior was perfectly clean and has an up to date style. Our server Aman was great, she was friendly and made sure our pop was filled up.

Very good burger and the inside of restaurant. They serve beer and draft as well at reasonable price. Outside seating when it’s nice. Free refills on fountain pop. Very nice staff. The interior and seating is very clean.
There is not a lot of table seating but there is counter sitting which is nice for the solo eaters.
