I contacted corporate and the store I ordered from and have yet to hear back from either one. Had this food been for a child, they could’ve easily choked.
Service: the young lady behind the counter couldn’t hide the fact that she would rather not be there at all. I told her it was our first time ever at Culver’s and if she could recommend something, she didn’t say a single word. It felt like she was upset we, of a browner skin tone were even there. Luckily there was no one behind us (I hate making people wait), so I scoped the menu and ordered a kid’s combo for my daughter and out of curiosity something for myself. She simply took our payment and gave us a table flag.
The food: upon getting our order, which looked nothing like the picture, I noticed the burgers are identical to those of Steak and Shake. The fries were pleasantly crispy, but felt greasy and I could taste the oil. The soda was okay, but that’s not hard if you keep your fountain sockets clean.
Upon returning to the counter to get the custard that came with my daughter’s meal, we landed at the same register and the service was no different. The young lady seemed annoyed we were back.
Needless to say, I don’t plan on ever visiting that place again. If I could rate with less stars I would.
The drive thru is slow, so we always dine in for faster service and a really nice atmosphere for families.
I’d never eaten at a Culver’s and I was in the area after my fall immunizations so I decided to give it a try. The people were very friendly and my food came out quickly so those are both pluses. There are so many good hamburger places now that this one didn’t really stand out. It was fresh, prepared the way I wanted it and it tasted good but nothing spectacular. My fries weren’t hot so that was disappointing but not awful. I’d definitely go back to try other things.
